One-day tour to Mount Omuro in Tokyo and the Atami Fireworks Festival

The new tour guide and driver are serious and professional. The Omurosan cable car goes down the mountain with beautiful fireworks. Fortunately, there is still a car to take when we return to Shinjuku. (The queue for the three cable cars in a row will be longer if there are many people)

The overall itinerary was okay, but one of the group members was not acting normally and affected others, and the weather conditions were not ideal. The tour guide was also very nice and attentive.

This is my second time participating in this similar trip. To be honest, the tour guide you meet will determine your final experience. This time, I would like to thank Tour Guide Fang for his attentiveness. He repeatedly reminded the group members of the things to pay attention to the night before, and reminded them to buy water to replenish their fluids before driving. There are only two points to note. First, it takes 4 hours to reach Mount Omuro (I have participated twice, and the driving time is almost the same); second, the Kinosaki Coast in the itinerary is not suitable for elderly people with limited mobility because it requires a long walk. The relatively rugged road takes about fifteen minutes. The scenery is beautiful, but you have to do it according to your ability.

The room rate at the Atami hotel that night was very high, but I didn’t want to stay in Atami very long. It was a great one-day tour to be able to visit Mount Omuro in one day, but it was a pity that the traffic jam shortened the tour time.

Thanks to the guide's thoughtful reminders, I avoided motion sickness and hunger during the trip. They also took great care to introduce the scenic spots along the way, making the entire trip exceptionally fulfilling.

I bought a one-day tour with the same itinerary from a different platform with my friends. It was a bit more expensive here. The fireworks at Atami are beautiful, but the driver felt unprofessional. There were three places in total, but I didn’t know where the parking lots were in two places. It took a lot of time to find the parking lot, which also led to no time to visit Atami. Moreover, the return trip was slow, and I arrived back in Shinjuku 1 hour later than my friend, almost missing the last bus.

The tour guide was very polite, acted as a driver, and patiently answered our questions.

The weather was not very good on the day of departure, and Omuro Mountain was only covered by heavy fog. Fortunately, the weather was beautiful at night and we were able to enjoy the beautiful fireworks. Apart from the weather, the whole trip was fine.
