Don't ride in the winter. I didn't know much and applied, but even though this is the southern region, it's so cold in the winter that alligators and raccoons don't come out. I just saw a swamp with trees covered in mistletoe. Everyone shivered from the cold, and... everyone was so cold that they kept moving back and forth on the boat to follow the sunlight. It takes about an hour to get from downtown New Orleans to the swamp by large bus. And the souvenir shop has a policy of not only not refunding, but also not exchanging for other more expensive items, so choose carefully before paying.
