Reviews
This was my first time experiencing the Mississippi River on the Natchez steamboat. The boat was clean and beautiful, the staff were polite, the band played wonderfully, and lunch was delicious. I will recommend this service to friends and family.
best way to cruise around Mississippi river. food is good but would be better if its buffet! enjoyed the ride even if its raining.
The hull glided smoothly on the Mississippi River, with professional narration about the scenery on both sides of the river. While the boats were queuing, the music from the steam whistle was very cheerful.
This is a must-do activity in New Orleans. We were there at 11am during lunch, and we started lining up around 10:30am and boarded around 10:55am. Since the weather was bad, there were fewer people on board, and if the weather was good, you would have to line up a little earlier. Since it was the first meal time, we were guided to the dining car as soon as we boarded. The meal consisted of cornbread, jambalaya, redbean & rice, fish gas, and dessert cake, and they brought it directly to the table. Instead, drinks were self-service, and you could choose from water, iced tea, and coffee for free. The food suited our taste well. Alcoholic beverages are charged separately. The cabins consist of the basement (bar, boiler room, engine room), 1st floor (dining room), 2nd floor + 2.5th floor (cabin, souvenir shop). You can tour the engine room, so you can watch the old-fashioned steam engine operation with your children. I had a great time eating, listening to music, looking around the inside of the steamboat, and seeing the Mississippi River. I got a discount by booking through Clark, so it was a good value for money.
I enjoyed live jazz music on a leisurely boat ride down the Mississippi River. The combination of the night view and the music created a wonderful atmosphere, making for a truly special New Orleans experience.
I traveled solo, but it was still plenty of fun. It's also very clean, but sunscreen is a must!
great offer 50% off only on Klook, at this price it was excellent value for money. nice view from Mississippi river, food is nice for boat buffet.
Great boat trip! It is a cute steamboat, we also got lunch in the boat. They had enough chairs for everyone which is very considerate.
I went to queue up for the boat early, but was notified at 11:30 that the boat was cancelled. I don't know how to get a refund.
