Taipei: Metalsmithing Workshop - Sterling Silver Ring/Bracelet & Waterproof Waxed Cord Braiding Experience

My son and I decided to do this together while visiting Taipei. Idy is an amazing teacher. Her English is amazing so she was able to easily guide us through the step by step process of creating our unique rings. we were given several styles to gain inspiration from and were able to complete our rings in the few hours allowed for the class. we definitely have cherished mementos from our time in Taiwan. I would definitely recommend.

The teacher is very patient and careful in teaching. There are many ring styles to choose from, and necklaces can be purchased as additional items. The overall environment is comfortable and the process is very enjoyable ~

In the comfortable ring workshop, soft jazz music played, creating a completely relaxing atmosphere. Our instructor, Idy, was attentive and kind, explaining the steps very clearly. In the end, I successfully completed my piece and was very satisfied. I'll definitely come back next time to make a bracelet!

It was fun and intimate workshop to learn from Idy! She's very approachable and jovial teacher and makes her instructions very clear. Very professional conduct and also bonus photos to take home which are professional grade! highly recommended :)

This was an absolutely delightful experience! || Before the session: We arrived a little early and inquired if we could start our session early and owner and instructor Idy immediately agreed as long as her earlier session ended early. || During the session: Idy is overall very pleasant and a great instructor. She's very clear with her directions (her english is great!!) and she remains very positive throughout even when we messed up a little bit. We were given more than enough time during the 2-hr session to get everything we wanted done on our pieces and she was with us every step of the way. The one time she had to take a (very quick bio-break) she made sure everything was safe before she left. || After the session: Idy sent us off with photos and videos of our session and clear instructions on jewelry maintenance. She gave us bonus info as well on what to do in the area (which is a really nice area to explore). Definitelt will be back! 10/10 highly recommend!

It’s the first time to make a bracelet by yourself. It’s a very interesting experience. You can design the text and style you want, and make it a unique accessory. The finished product is beautiful! The lady boss was also very patient in explaining and teaching. It was a great experience ~ I will visit again if necessary😍 Recommended to everyone!

I booked the ringmaking class with my girlfriend to celebrate our 6 year anniversary. Idy was very friendly and guided us through the entire metalsmithing process. I was honestly surprised by how much we were able to get done within a few hours, and we were both super happy with our final results. Would absolutely recommend this class for any couple or friend group looking to make some lasting personalized gifts with each other!

If we encounter problems during the process, he will immediately help us solve and remedy them, and will also help us take photos. Teachers can teach in Cantonese, so there is no language barrier for Hong Kong guests.
