I originally signed up for the Starbucks DMZ tour, but due to insufficient numbers, the platform inquired if I wanted to join another DMZ demilitarized tour group. From the very beginning until meeting up at Hongdae, the tour guide, Jean, was very proactive in contacting me via WhatsApp, so I wouldn't be lost, and patiently answered my questions. During the tour, she explained the relationship and history between North and South Korea in Chinese, allowing me to understand the love-hate relationship spanning 5,000 years. Overall, the value for money was very high. Highly recommended! 👍

It felt like a private tour with just the three of us and one other person, making a total of four. Our guide, handsome Kim, was very kind and shared a lot of information about Korea. The Starbucks at the DMZ isn't very big, but at the observatory, North Korea was so close. We were looking for people with binoculars, like searching for UFOs, and we saw someone riding a bicycle. Listening to Mr. Kim talk about the Korean War made me think a lot. On the way back, the person who came with us didn't want to go to the outlet, so it became a completely private tour. He took us to a local restaurant, which was a valuable experience. I would like to go again if I have the chance.

The last min availability to book this tour is really great for solo traveller with spontaneous trip itinerary. I joined this tour with Mr.Shin as our guide, he’s very nice and fluent in English explaining some facts about North and South Border. I appreciate the direct msg he sent to make sure to give instructions and spots to explore. The pickup Transfer/driver is on time. Recommended for the rest to book the tour! :)

This trip was mainly to visit the Starbucks closest to North Korea. We were very lucky to have a clear, sunny day! Our guide, Owen, was very nice and chatted with us along the way, explaining the history of the two Koreas. He patiently answered all our questions. The story of his family being separated and then reunited sounded like something straight out of a movie – super interesting! Guide Owen helped us spot a North Korean school through the binoculars, as well as North Koreans herding sheep and even riding bicycles XDDD. I didn't see any specific DMZ cups at Starbucks, not sure if they didn't have them or if they were sold out. But they did have Gyeonggi (Gyeonggi Province) city cups, which included a small DMZ section, so I brought one of those home as a souvenir XD. It was a very pleasant half-day tour, definitely worth spending a morning to come!

We had an amazing DMZ Tour along the North Korea border! 🇰🇷 Our tour guide, Alice, was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and attentive throughout the entire trip. She explained the history clearly and made the experience both educational and fun. We felt safe and well-taken care of every step of the way. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Korea, and ask for Alice (VIP Tour)as your guide! 🌟

A very nice car picked us up at Myeongdong Station at 9:00 AM. The ride was comfortable and very pleasant. Our guide, Hana, provided the tour in English. If you don't understand English, it might be a bit difficult. There were many large tour buses at the DMZ, but Starbucks wasn't too crowded, so we were able to enjoy a relaxing cup of tea. We stayed here for about an hour, and I wish we could have stayed a bit longer. Also, there were more photo-worthy spots than I expected between the parking lot and Starbucks. We arrived at our drop-off location at around 1:56 PM. Since it's a place you can't visit on your own, I recommend joining a tour to go there.

Mr Shin is an informative tour guide. He gives his perspective on modern-day Korean thinking. It was nice to have breakfast overlooking North Korea.

Ms. Ko provided the tour guide services in Japanese. The tour itself was carefully guided in Japanese. The tour involved going to Starbucks and then about an hour and a half of free time before it ended. It was a very valuable experience. Remember to bring your passport. I was picked up at Myeongdong Station. Just go to the front of the 7-Eleven.
