The Evening Rainforest and Glow Worm Half Day Tour in Gold Coast was a truly fantastic experience. In early October, we witnessed a breathtaking abundance of glow worms lighting up the night, creating a magical atmosphere. On our way to Curtis Falls, we spotted a variety of wildlife, including spiders and lizards, which added to the thrill of the adventure. Our guide, Ryan, provided red flashlights that were perfect for the tour, allowing us to see clearly without disturbing the glow worms. The trail itself was easy and enjoyable, suitable for all ages—there were even young children in our group who navigated it effortlessly. Ryan’s knowledge and enthusiasm were exceptional. He provided detailed explanations whenever we had questions about the wildlife and kept the atmosphere light and fun throughout the tour. His humor and great energy made the tour engaging from beginning to end. Overall, this tour combines nature, wildlife, and the magic of glow worms with a friendly and informative guide, making it perfect for families and nature enthusiasts alike.

We decided to take this tour while in the Gold Coast during Spring and we weren't disappointed. They included a dessert and hot chocolate stop, which was a nice touch. Our guide, Amber from Southern Cross Tour, was hilarious from the drive to the very end of the tour. I appreciate that they offer several pickup locations, and we were able to choose the one at Helensvale station, which was only an 8-minute drive away instead of heading back into town which is 30 minutes away. I would recommend avoiding Winter, though, as you might not see many glow worms. It's a bit of a hike too, so wear good walking shoes. I recommend booking this, especially if you're into adventure, hiking, and fun!

Ryan is a very humorous tour guide. Although it was a bit rainy that day, when Ryan took us to see the blue glow worms, he introduced us to various trees and creatures on the mountain. Not only did we gain knowledge, but he also created a mysterious atmosphere at night. He truly is an interesting and passionate guide. On the way back, we enjoyed delicious cheesecake and chocolate milk at Manor restaurant, which left us with wonderful memories of this enlightening night tour. The best part was that on the way back, we got to sing along to everyone’s favorite songs— it was fantastic! Next time, I definitely want to bring my family here again.

Our guide was very welcoming and clearly has a passion for nature, giving us information on the plant life. We managed to see spiders and a golden-crowned snake (whose name our guide kindly researched and got back to us on) in addition to the glow worms all in close proximity. The pickup and dropoff was also very swift and the small group nature was definitely a plus.

The arrangements were well-organized and thoughtful. The meeting point was clear and easy to understand. The trip was enriching, and we were able to request drop-off at our hotel, which was very convenient for customers.
