Our tour guide Nanthan is the best!! We highly recommend him. Nanthan are very nice and knowledgeable with Malaysia’s history and culture. He also give information about Palm oil and show us the factory. It was very interesting learning about one of Malaysia’s agriculture. We booked for the Deer park and Elephant sanctuary. We had a blast and fun day. We had a great experience with the Elephants being up close and personal. Love them. Nanthan was always on our side and guiding us at all time. We truly appreciate him and highly recommended.

The drive is quite far, so the tour guide took us to the Batu Caves for a stop. On the way, we passed a very simple zoo. It is a special experience to have a close contact with elephants.

The driver explained very attentively. Although his English was not very good, I could still understand it. The tour guide at the elephant conservation center was also very detailed, but I didn't visit the aboriginal settlements, which was a pity.

Our driver is Wilson. He is very friendly and kind. We are a family of 2 adults and 1 child. We visited all the itineraries during the whole trip. One of the kids wanted to experience Batik at the last minute, so we cancelled the deer park trip in exchange. Thanks Wilson for helping us order lunch at Kuala Gandah. We were able to feed the elephants and watch the elephant washing process. He also rushed on the way back so that we could get back to the hotel at just the right time. Thanks Wilson 😃

especially the kids were very impressed on this animal experience. both sides with enough interaction in petting and feeding the animals. it could have been nicer to have a local guide who talks about the sanctuaries - the idea of opening them and the every day life.

Although the traffic jam during the Chinese New Year had caused the cancellation of the Batu Caves attraction, the driver worked hard to ensure the trip went smoothly. The itinerary for the elephant conservation center and to see the silver leaf monkeys was explained in detail by the local guide (the guides were all Indian, so you had to listen more carefully to their English accents). The food in the seafood restaurant was also good, very rich and not too bad.

The children were very happy to get close to the elephants, and the park environment was very clean. The fireflies were even more surprising, there were so many of them, it was a pity it was drizzling, otherwise it would have been even more spectacular. Dinner was also delicious.
