Things to do in Hōheikyō Hot Spring

Hanna, the guide for me today, was very informative and attentive. Everything’s on time, credit to others in our group as well. Even it’s not the full red autumn, nothing disappointed me today. If you’re interested to join this tour, don’t hesitate, it’s really worth it!

very prompt pick up at the meeting area. very comfortable bus ride. Tour guide, I think her name was Vivian, and the bus driver was great. so patient and kind. Got to see beautiful sites we wouldn’t have been able to see on our own, because it was very rural. First time using Klook, and I loved it! Very reasonable priced too which is a bonus! Highly recommend!

It was wonderful to have a relaxed schedule enjoying Lake Shikotsu, the park, foot baths in Jozankei, and even hot spring eggs. Guides Lilu and Baku made the trip so fun, and the driver did a great job driving throughout the trip! I recommend this tour for travelers to Sapporo who want a moderate amount of walking rather than a packed itinerary. Rather than spending time on lunch, it would be better to buy plenty of snacks before departure (there are no convenience stores to speak of along the way) so you can fully immerse yourself in the trip :)

The itinerary was great, though it would have been even better if we had come a bit later, as the maple leaves haven't started turning red yet. Tour guide Ms. Zhou Yan made the trip even more wonderful with her detailed explanations and attentive service. She is the best tour guide I've ever had among the many day tours I've taken in Japan!

I really loved this Jozankei canoeing trip! 🧡 Paddling slowly down the lush, green stream surrounded by forests on both sides, with red bridges coming into view along the way—the entire scenery was so soothing. The water was very calm, and the pace of the paddling was comfortable, so it didn't feel tiring at all; instead, it gave me a sense of slowing down time. The whole itinerary was very well arranged, and I truly enjoyed this time spent boating through the forests of Hokkaido. It's an experience that completely makes me want to come back again! 😍

The itinerary and schedule were satisfactory, and the tour guide arrangements were excellent, speaking both Chinese and English. The guests were happy, and the vehicle seating was comfortable. If the pickup time could be changed to 8:15 AM, allowing guests to enjoy a quick breakfast on their own before boarding, that would be more suitable.
