Umekōji Park tours

We had a wonderful experience on our Kyoto excursion with Tim and his assistant Nyak. Tim was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and kind—he never rushed us and made sure everyone felt included and informed throughout the tour. His attention to detail and storytelling made each stop come alive. We also appreciated the thoughtful restaurant recommendations afterward! Nyak was helpful and attentive, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend this tour and team!

The tour guide Apple's careful explanation made us look forward to the tourist destinations on the bus. Although the original four sections of scenery were reduced to three sections (missing the deer feeding in Nara), it was a reasonable arrangement considering the stop time of the itinerary. I liked Katsuo-ji Temple the most among the three sections. The temple was full of Daruma, which was very healing. The postcard stamping session made people look forward to the different looks of the postcards stamped at each stop. The whole temple had a full atmosphere. If possible, I hope this trip can be extended to 1.5 hours, which will be enough for everyone to take pictures and buy souvenirs. Arashiyama and Fushimi Inari are more of a walking, eating and drinking itinerary. The time for Fushimi Inari was not enough for us to walk to the top of Inari Mountain, which was a bit of a pity. The overall itinerary is still highly recommended!

Very interesting experience! Our guide was easy to understand and shared so much information with our group. I learned a lot and enjoyed the performances. The question/answer portion makes the event more personal.

We are almost late because our city bus not coming, so we walk to the departure place, and Hua Hua was there smiling and welcome us with calming words 😊 So off we go ontime. During the tour, Hua Hua was Explain to our group very clear, with also always send to us information about the place where the bus park, time, and even answer some of our question regarding the tour. Even He help us to took several pictures because we are big family. He is very kind, cheerful, helpful, best tour guide since i have been booked several tour before from this platform. During the 7-day 6-night free travel, I specially arranged a day to sign up for a group tour in Kyoto. The main attractions this time were Kinkakuji Temple, Kiyomizu Temple and Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine. The overall itinerary was all the attractions I really wanted to visit. I was super nervous before departure, after all, it was my first time traveling in this way, and I wanted to participate selfishly, but in fact I really felt great. The entire time control and itinerary arrangement were all very appropriate. I would like to thank our tour guide Xiao Fu (Alvin) 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟. During the trip, he explained the history of the attractions in Chinese and English, and shared many recommended restaurants, allowing us to use time quickly and accurately, and he would also remind everyone in the group of the meeting time and place in a timely manner. Our group had a large number of people and we took the bus, but Xiao Fu still cared about everyone's situation, whether there was anything they wanted to eat, etc. He was always willing to help. Especially when my son fell and injured both knees, Xiao Fu immediately went to buy disinfectant and dressings for us. I am really grateful, otherwise we might not be able to have fun. The child felt embarrassed afterwards and wanted to thank this big brother. We returned to Osaka at nearly 6 o'clock and had plenty of time to go shopping. After returning home, everyone felt that they had a fulfilling and happy day.

Itsuki was an excellent guide who provided us with a wealth of information about Geisha culture and history. We learned a lot during the tour, and she also offered great recommendations for other activities to enjoy while in Kyoto. I highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in Geisha culture and the history of Gion.

Highly recommend our tour guide Jackson. He’s fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese. He not only inform us about the tourist attraction but also send us all meet up location in google so we won’t get loss. He also walk us all to the entrance of the attraction (as the parking spot may be few mins away from the entrance). The tour is on time in every single pickup point. Lastly he even surprise us with a treat at the end of the tour. As for the tour itself tine is quite enough for touring the attraction but not quite enough for shopping. It’s expected though as packing few attractions in one day surely won’t leave us tons of time. overall I highly recommend this tour.

The tour was excellent, especially with our guide, Mai. Mai made the tour perfect and was very funny and friendly. Very informative. Nice air-conditioned bus. Good value as temple access paid for, tea ceremony (with match, cookie & chocolate). Flexible, allowing people to choose half day, lunch or not, guided or more free time. Due to it being summer, it was 36 degrees (feeling like 41), so the only thing I would change is including more sit-down breaks, shade & less walking for tours during summer.
