Fantastic 5.0
This was our second time visiting Takayama and Shirakawa-go, but our first time experiencing them in the snow. The tour was very well organized, and our guide, Gu, was both helpful and knowledgeable about the area. He didn’t just guide us through the usual spots—he also recommended specific stores to visit in Takayama and suggested efficient walking routes, which saved us a lot of time and energy. Lunch was another highlight. The Hida beef was incredibly tender and juicy, and we appreciated the unlimited refills of tea, soup, and rice. Everything was satisfying and well-prepared. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and one we would highly recommend.

Our Takayama and Shirakawago tour was truly one of the highlights of our trip. Everything was well-organized and perfectly paced, giving us enough time to explore. Hao, our tour guide, was wonderful, warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely attentive. She made sure everyone felt safe and comfortable throughout the journey. We especially appreciated her thoughtful recommendations on what to eat and what to see in both Takayama and Shirakawago. Because of her guidance, we were able to experience the best of both destinations. Special thanks as well to Ishida, who drove us all the way with such care and professionalism. You could truly feel that our safety was his priority. On our way back to the bus, he even made iced duck for us before we get on the bus, such a sweet and thoughtful gesture that made the day even more memorable. We would happily do it again, maybe in another season to see Takayama and Shirakawago in a different light.

It was an experience to visit both Takayama and Shirakawa Go. The tour guide and the driver were both very polite and attentive. We were also brief by the tour guide on the walking routes and where are the best spot to take our pictures for both of the places. We really enjoyed ourselves. Thank you.

My whole family enjoyed the tour in both Takayama and Shirakawago. We were blessed with a good weather and an excellent guide and driver. Jane not only expertly shared the history of both places, and guided us on how to maximize the limited time, but adeptly organized, planned and strategized to timing for the group to get the most out of the tour. Thank you Jane and likewise to our competent driver.

Tour info. is well informed and detailed. Tour guide guy Mr Liu is young man, all required info. he will be repeatly mentioning few times. Perhaps the tourist information for each particular places would be a bit of in-depth in English will be more ideal. For enhancing value of tour would be time spent on last two spots, says 15 minutes extra time allowance for Takayama town & Shirakawa village for 10 minutes more would be great for value. The tour made it as great memorable day as today h’been snowing since we left Nagoya. ThankYou

This winter day trip to Takayama and Shirakawa-go was truly unforgettable and one of the highlights of my time in Japan. Visiting Shirakawa-go while it was covered in snow felt like stepping into a fairytale-the gassho-zukuri houses looked absolutely stunning in the winter scenery. Takayama was just as charming, with its traditional streets, historic atmosphere, and cozy winter vibes. The entire trip was very well organized, transportation was comfortable and warm, and everything ran smoothly, making the day completely stress-free. We had enough time at both locations to explore, take photos, and enjoy the atmosphere without feeling rushed. Our guide, Lee, was very friendly and well knowledgeable, sharing interesting history and cultural insights that really added to the experience. If you're visiting Japan in winter and want to see beautiful traditional towns, I can't recommend this day enough. Absolutely worth it!

Fantastic 5.0
The time allotted at Ghibli Park was more than enough to explore the whole area, even with some lines, and still enjoy a proper meal. The meet-up point was easy to find, and the lunch bento was already prepared and handed out before boarding the bus, which was very convenient. Quick heads-up: there are no trash bins inside the park, so you’ll need to bring your trash with you until you’re back at Nagoya Station (bins for bottles and cans are available). On the tour day, what we visited after the park was Toyota Automobile Museum, where the guide shared car inspirations from Ghibli movies, making it fun to spot them. The time there was under an hour, so it felt a bit rushed. But it's still good overall!

Whole Experience to Kamikochi The trip to Kamikochi was truly wonderful, surrounded by breathtaking scenery. Traveling from Nagoya took about 3.5 hours, and it was absolutely worth it. Along the way, our tour guide explained the entire itinerary in detail and even shared some great food recommendations that we must try while in Nagoya.
