Hanoi Day trips

Fun and well-organized Ninh Binh day tour! Everything was smooth from pick-up to drop-off to our hotel (Old Quarter area). The van service was very comfortable and well-managed. Just be ready for an active, physical day with lots of walking and climbing. Totally worth it! Shout out to our tour guide, Fortune, for being friendly and for keeping everything running seamlessly!

Ninh Binh was majestic! There were lots of tourists, but it was all very organized and it we had more than enough time to soak up the beauty of the landscape. Our tour guide Jobs was very kind and helpful and knowledgeable. The climb up to the Tail of the Dragon was harder than I expected, but I made it to the top. Whew!

the trip was great. The tour guide was very informative. The driver’s pace was great too. Vehicle was clean. Lunch was just okay. Itinerary was great. I maximized my time in Nin Binh without compromising my comfort. Thank you. I had a great time.

Started with a lacquer workshop and made our own small painting. Then went to the incense factory, saw the bright drying yard, and took photos. After that, we learned to shape and paint our own conical hat. Tom explain clear and simple. Jerry drive safe. Day feel full but not rushed.

We had a wonderful tour with our guide , Duc. He shared great info about the sites and Vietnamese culture. The company reached out the day before the tour to confirm pick up time and location. Duc was at the pick up location to greet us. The itinerary is as outlined in the description. The lunch buffet included many traditional Vietnamese dishes which we fully enjoyed. We did notice that some of the individuals on the tour were vegetarians and indicated that there were limited options for them. Overall a great tour and highly recommended for those looking for a day trip from the hustle and hustle or Hanoi.

I loved everything about this tour! The guide communicated when they were close to picking me up, since there was some traffic. Robin gave good information as we began the 2 hour drive to Ninh Binh, but let us rest after since it was still early. The bike ride to the temple was great and not difficult at all. Lunch had plenty of options. Trang An and the Mua Caves were gorgeous and it was so peaceful and relaxing despite there being lots of other boats. It was also nice that if you didn’t want to hike the 500 steps, you could visit the old town instead. 10/10 would recommend

The tour guide seemed too young and didn't really control the group well. Also, while they were called a tour guide, they didn't actually introduce the history of each location. This was a very different experience compared to other tours I've taken in Vietnam. The worst part was that after dropping everyone off at each location, they didn't mention a meeting time. When I asked the tour guide what time we'd meet, they just replied that they'd be waiting at that spot, and the voice was so quiet that not all the tour group members could hear. So, the entire day was spent waiting for other tour members to return to the group, plus it was a holiday, so there were tons of other tour groups at each location! Because our group arrived late to the restaurant for lunch, we only had half an hour for lunch, which felt very rushed and uncomfortable. The bike ride after lunch is really unnecessary. The bikes were super bad, and the roads were super bad too. It's skippable. The only complete experience during the whole trip was the boat ride. The Mua Cave at the end was just a big question mark. We paid money to enter, but we could only stay for 40 minutes. There was no time to climb up, even though the park was really beautiful. It was such a pity we couldn't go up because we'd be late. Again, regarding the final meeting time to return to Hanoi, we waited in the car for 40 minutes because other tour members were late. The whole experience really felt like we spent 2/3 of the time waiting for people! If you're going to spend a whole day on this, I recommend booking a small group or a private tour. You really get what you pay for!

Tung was a wonderful local guide — calm, patient, and never rushed. She led us on foot into local neighborhoods and everyday life, which made the experience feel genuine and grounded. She also answered questions thoughtfully and with care. Truly appreciated.

brilliant tour! it more than exceeded our expectations! A must do while in Hanoi, early start but well worth it! our guide was fab and it all felt quite relaxed despite the schedule! it was my favourite day so far! the climb was quite the workout for those with short legs but worth it! the boat ride was the stand out but every bit was great! lunch was typical buffet, bit bland but enough choice to fill up for energy! our guide Day was fab, thank you!
