The experience was amazing! The perfect time to visit them is in November, or autumn as a whole. This is the only chance to see Sakura bloom in Japan during spring. The tour guide is english speaking as advertised. The sites you get to visit are also breathtaking. The catch is that visiting 5 places in an 8-hour stretch limits the time you have to explore each place. I wished I had more time in the scenic places
The meeting point is easy to find and well-described by tour operator. The tour guide Yuumi-san is simply the best! Usually, I get bored on bus tours like this (I will not say which other country) but she made it so much fun with history bits, pictures, and quiz games, I just don’t notice the time pass in between stops. I hope when I come back to Nagoya, she’s still doing the tour.
Although the gathering time was very early, the whole trip was a great pleasure! The tour guide provided very detailed explanations and background information on the attractions. The time you can stay at each scenic spot is OK, but there is never enough time to enjoy the beautiful scenery. Plus, there are so many people around during the red leaf season. The good thing is that we can buy food for the bus, which saves time for eating in the local area, and the group members all gathered and returned on time, making our trip smooth. It was a little expensive, but Highly recommended
Yuumisan was the BEST tour guide I have had. I've been on many day tours and from the meeting point until the end, she was excellent. We visited 5 places in one day. the time we had at all places were more than sufficient. we were lucky as traffic was not bad at all. My favorite was Senmi with the beautiful Sakura blooms and vibrant maple 🍁 trees. The oranges at the orchard were sweet and we filled our bellies to our content. Korankai was beautiful with the peak fall folliage, bridges, river and temple views! Lunch at Kariya Osasis was nice as well. Happy to have a break for lunch. our last stop was Shirotori Garden. we were able to view the park 45min before the sunset and night views, too! This entire tour was worth it. I highly recommend you participate in 2025 if you have to opportunity. Thank you, Yuumisan for the historical lessons and being such a wonderful guide!!
The places are very beautiful. notification was sent in advance about time and pickup location. since they’re very touristy, become so hard to take a picture without having people in the Background and you have to follow the queue for taking picture at spots.I feel time for each place, except the orange eating was less. I was under the impression that we will be picking the oranges, but that was not included, so I had to pay extra to get the basket and pick oranges for myself. This Tour is basically for leveraging travel arrangements from Nagoya Station and return. Everything else is a self guided tour which makes it more difficult to realise and understand which way you have to go. the overall itinerary was good.usually the tours are rushed and squeezed into 10 hrs of Japanese regulation of driving. I will definitely plan to go by myself since I have been once.being touristy, the toilet queues are huge. if u’r late by 4 minutes, guide will make you say sorry to the whole group. 😂😂
Nice autumn leaves but sakura not open yet - only a few flowers, trees mostly bare on 22/11. Orange picking was fun though, you get to eat as much as you want. If u get the orange ice cream (450yen), showing your sticker gets a 50 yen discount. Enough time is allocated for the shopping street. But the mini bus is too cramped - I'm 170cm, the seat was exactly my hip to knee, the ride there was 2hr+, and 1-2hr in between sites, super uncomfortable and cramped. Felt like a mini bus for kids.
This trip not only saw the red leaves, but also the cherry blossoms of all seasons. The scenery was very beautiful. Xianglan Creek is worth visiting. The experience of choosing an orange is also very special.
The tour pick-up point is suitable and easy to find. The tour is very suitable for the red leaf season; the route is also ok. However, the car is small, and the seats are cramped, so it is not very comfortable to sit. In my opinion, the price of this tour is high.
This was the highlight of my trip! Yumi and the driver ( i apologize I forgot his name) were both kind and always smiling. Yumi was also full of tidbits regarding Nagoya mad Aichi. I was so excited to go to the next place. Nature was very beautiful and I tried ayu fish on a stick which was yummy… I ate then we went orange picking! I wish I can go back again soon because it is such an amazing experience!
It was a very smart itinerary and there was no traffic jam during the whole journey. There is also a credit to the super-powerful beautiful driver here, which cannot be ignored. Although the red leaves are not completely red, the sky is blue enough to make up for the shortcomings. The light show at Shiratori Garden is great! The tour guide’s enthusiastic introduction helped me learn a lot about Japanese history in addition to the scenic spots.
