[Kyushu Natural Animal Park] Dedicated to restoring the natural ecological environment, it aims to showcase the “original state” of animals’ lives. You can ride a special jungle bus to feed lions, and there are also areas where you can interact directly with animals.
[Sea Hell] One of the must-visit attractions in Oita Prefecture. It was formed about 1,200 years ago by the great explosion of Mount Tsurumi. It has a refreshing cobalt blue color due to ferrous sulfate, but its temperature is 98 degrees Celsius and its depth is 200 meters.
[Hell Steam Studio Kannawa] Using natural geothermal steam up to 98 degrees Celsius, and using the steaming principle of steaming baskets, the ingredients are steamed layer by layer to eat the original natural freshness of the ingredients.
[Yufuin Town Yunotsubo Street] Yufuin is also recognized as the source of inspiration for Japanese animation master Hayao Miyazaki’s creation of Totoro, so there are various anime-themed cafes and anime specialty stores in the town. [Kinrin Lake]

Staying near Hakata Chikushi Exit. Hiring a private car to the Nature Animal Park, departing at 7:30 AM to arrive at opening time. Purchase Jungle Bus tickets (only available for 12:10 PM, as earlier times were sold out). First, have the driver take us around the safari park for a loop, then visit the petting zoo area, and finally take the Jungle Bus. Around 1:20 PM, depart the zoo for Yufuin. Get dropped off at Lake Kinrin, explore Yufuin while looking for lunch, and then call the driver from the 7-Eleven below to pick us up (around 3:30 PM). Return to the hotel in Hakata. Driving times are fixed, and each attraction requires a significant amount of time, so it is not recommended to cram in too many places. The zoo is not suitable for having lunch. This farthest itinerary is the most relaxing to enjoy.
The driver was very punctual in picking us up in front of the hotel. The vehicle was clean and comfortable. The scheduled itinerary was the Kyushu Natural Animal Park and the Outlet.
