this was a very good activity.. learned a lot about sheep shearing, the process and hard work put into it.. we had our lunch at the cafe in sheepworld which was very delicious.. had a great time..
We booked our sheepworld tickets via klook travel and it was convenient and cheaper than purchasing the the tickets on site.
The entire farm is very cute. In addition to performing shaving wool, there is also a performance of the shepherd dog and sheep. (The explanation is very detailed.) I like it very much.
A nice activities for the family. You can feed the animals and there’s also a show. Lovely farm scenery.
Auckland city center is about 1 hour without traffic jam. Once inside, you can see cute small animals and have a feeding experience. The performance lasts about an hour and a half, and is designed to give an overall understanding of New Zealand's sheep farm. A detailed description of how the shepherd dog drives the sheep, how the sheep is sheared, and the daily life of the sheep farm is explained in detail. Although it is conducted only in English, the overall situation can be understood as a performance even if it is not understood. Highly recommended for families with young children, newcomers to New Zealand
There was a show in the package and the explanation was good. However, the environment is lack of hygiene. Need to improve the cleanliness of the entire place.
Sheep World requires an hour drive north from Auckland. Once you arrive Sheep World there is a show to show you how the sheep is herd and how the sheep is sheared. Highly recommend.
The programme is good for the children. However, the farm programme starts at 2:00pm but the inter-city bus can only arrive at 2:20pm the earliest. I have thus missed some parts of the show for this reason. The farm should adjust the start time of the show to enable public transport visitors to join the whole show session.
