The museum is not big and can be visited in about an hour. It introduces a lot of the history of India in Singapore. The permanent exhibitions are on the third and fourth floors, and the special exhibitions are on the second floor. You can take pictures.
Very clean and sophisticated place in the middle of little India. Great to see the details of India and culture brought about in Singapore and how different the culture and history is of Singaporean Indians.
Excellent value for money. Focusing on introducing the origins of Indians in Singapore to the changes of the times to the present, the museum carefully interviewed the elderly and you can see the videos on many topics. The special exhibition is also well planned. It talks about the branches of Indians and adds to the issue of self-identity in multiculturalism. I hope the audio guide equipment will be repaired in the future
This is a great place to learn about the history of Indians in Singapore and how people migrated there a few centuries ago. They also offer educational and interactive experiences for kids and students.
It is convenient to buy and exchange tickets anytime. The two floors of the exhibition venue are near the India MRT station.
The guy working at the ticketing desk is very friendly and helpful. The exhibition was very informative and we learn a lot about Indians in Singapore and their culture in general. A good place to spend a couple of hours.
It is a good place to appreciate Indian cultural relics and learn about the history of Indian culture in Singapore. You need to redeem a ticket at the counter on the first floor and get a sticker. After sticking it on your body, you can visit it from top to bottom. The introduction in the museum is only in English. , so tourists who have no intention of reading English may only have a fleeting experience.
An amazing newly inaugurated heritage museum with state of the art technology. Must visit for every Indian.
