We had a great time because it was such an awesome adventure. The locations were distinctive, and each had something special to offer. The only thing that did not go as planned was that our last stop, where we needed to pick up the bulk of the ingredients for our picnic, was closed (we missed it by 15 minutes). Fortunately for us, we went there anyhow, and as the store was about to close, a man gave us the bag he had saved for us in case we arrived late. However, knowing that this halt has a time limit would have been great. Anyway, thanks for a wonderful experience; my family and I really valued it.
We had a lovely day, weather was paramount and we had clear skies. I've included some photos we collected along the way but tried not to include any obvious spoilers. We have been to the region many times before and this trip introduced us to brand new locations which was really cool. For the price, we expected a little bit more food, so if anything would suggest purchasing a few extras along the way (i.e. we got an extra pie each and some desserts plus the obligatory iced mocha which was enough for leftovers).
