Nishitetsu Train: Convenient Round-Trip Ticket This package includes a round-trip train ticket departing from “Nishitetsu Fukuoka (Tenjin) Station” or “Yakuin Station.” You can freely choose any circular route according to your personal itinerary: “Fukuoka to Dazaifu to Yanagawa to Fukuoka” or “Fukuoka to Yanagawa to Dazaifu to Fukuoka.” Note: This ticket cannot be used at automatic ticket gates. Please present your ticket to the staff at the ticket gate when entering and exiting the station.
Yanagawa River Cruise Ticket The package includes a one-way river cruise experience with “Yanagawa Kanko Kaihatsu Co., Ltd. (Shogetsu Boarding Point).” You will cruise along the Edo-era canals led by a professional boatman.
Boarding Service: Upon arrival at Yanagawa Station, you can go to the "River Cruise Service Counter" on the second floor or the "River Cruise Meeting Point" on the first floor, where a shuttle bus will guide you to the boarding point.
Seasonal Feature: From December 1st to the end of February, if weather permits, a "Kotatsu boat" service, full of local charm, will be provided.
Return Shuttle: After reaching the destination, you can use the "free shuttle bus" departing at specific times to return to Yanagawa Station.
Dazaifu Specialty: Umegae Mochi Exchange Voucher With the exchange voucher included in the package, you can redeem a hot, local specialty, Umegae Mochi, for free at designated shops along the Dazaifu Tenmangu Sando and its surroundings. With a slightly crispy crust and soft, chewy filling, it is an indispensable culinary experience when visiting Dazaifu.

Very easy and convenience to use. You collect the ticket at the airport and use it on the day you go. The one hour ride is fantastic , the scenery along the ride is beautiful. Highly recommended to use this ticket.
The ticket package is redeemed at Fukuoka Airport. If you plan to visit Yanagawa and Dazaifu, purchasing the package will save you a significant amount compared to buying individual tickets. It also includes a free shuttle bus from Yanagawa Station to the boat boarding area.

When in Fukuoka, a visit to Yanagawa is a must to experience a boat ride through the "Venice of the East." The boatmen enthusiastically sing and greet passengers from various countries, and the scenery along the way is like stepping into a paradise, allowing everyone to enjoy a leisurely time with a multi-sensory experience.
After picking up the tickets at the Fukuoka Airport International Terminal counter as instructed, it was quite convenient to use. On the day of use, we departed from Tenjin Station via Nishitetsu, and simply showing the pass allowed us to receive clear directions.
Overall, it was okay. Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine was under renovation. The boatman in Yanagawa sang and was quite entertaining. If you buy tickets after checking into your hotel in Hakata, picking them up can be very inconvenient!
It was very convenient to pick up the exchange voucher at the airport counter. Unfortunately, we arrived in Yanagawa too late to take the boat. We ended up having lunch at a nearby udon restaurant. Next time, I'll plan our time better for a more perfect trip.
When I went to Dazaifu, part of it was under renovation and I couldn't go inside to visit. The boat ride in Yanagawa was very pleasant because the weather was cool. Yanagawa is a very peaceful place, and I really loved it. ☺️
