Xi'an: Terracotta Army, City Wall, Big Wild Goose pagoda Full-Day Tour & Family Lunch

Andy was the tour guide for my Terracotta Army trip, and he delivered a well-curated, end-to-end experience. He provided clear, engaging explanations of the site’s history and significance, making the visit both informative and easy to follow. A standout highlight was lunch at his parents’ home in Lintong, an authentic, home-cooked experience that added real cultural value and a personal touch to the itinerary. After that, he maintained a smooth flow as we continued to the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda and the City Wall. At each stop, his briefings were concise yet insightful, giving just the right context without slowing down the pace. Overall, Andy managed the day efficiently while elevating the experience with local insights and thoughtful planning.

We had a fantastic experience, our guide, Christina, was absolutely excellent, she explained everything so clearly and brought each site to life. We visited the Xi’an Outer Wall, the Wild Goose Pagoda, and of course, the incredible Terracotta Warriors. A real highlight was the home-cooked lunch, which was delicious and such a nice touch. Highly recommend this tour, especially with Christina as your guide!

Tour to Terracotta Warrior, City Wall, and Wild Goose Pagoda with Andy has been marvelous!!!! He was really detail in providing history and information. Actually I was so surprised with the level of services he provided that included lunch at his family home that give tiny slice of local experience. I highly recommend this tour. Highly recommended! Andy was a wonderful guide. He ensured we were well taken care off and you can really tell he has a great passion for what he does. It was very special being invited into his family home to enjoy some really tasty food prepared by his parents.

He was friendly, thoughtful, and extremely knowledgeable about Xi’an’s history and culture. The experience felt very authentic; Andy even took our group to his hometown where we shared a delicious home-cooked meal. Great for travelers who want to see the main attractions while getting a genuine local experience. Hotel pick up was on time. The English guide named Andy was top notch and cherry on the cake, the lunch at the tour guide house was exceptional. Would definitely recommend if you looking for a day tour of the terracotta warriors and the city wall.

A memorable experience! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an excellent experience with Victor during our tour in Xi’an. We visited the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda, a beautiful temple, the ancient city wall, and of course, the impressive Terracotta Warriors. One of the highlights of the day was having a traditional Chinese meal with a local family. They were incredibly kind and welcoming, and they even gave us a thoughtful little gift as a souvenir. Victor made the whole experience even more special with his extensive knowledge of the history and culture of this fascinating region. He speaks excellent English and provided detailed and interesting explanations throughout the tour. He was also very attentive and made sure everything went smoothly. I found the price to be very reasonable considering the excellent service and quality of the experience. I highly recommend Victor to anyone visiting Xi’an who wants to learn about its incredible history and culture with a knowledgeable and friendly guide.

Andy is an amazing guide! Despite the holiday crowds, he expertly steered us away from the heavy traffic and was incredibly flexible in tailoring the itinerary to what our group wanted to do. One of the best part was definitely having lunch at his parents' home. They are lovely, welcoming people, and the homemade Chinese food they cooked was spectacular. A truly unique chance to experience a local Chinese household. I loved every minute of it!

I wholeheartedly recommend the tour with Andy—he is a fantastic guide with a wealth of knowledge and excellent English. At every location, there was plenty of time to take photos and explore some of the exhibits on our own, yet everything was so well organized that nothing felt dragged out. Included in the price of the tour is also lunch at Andy's parents' place; they are lovely people, and the food itself was very tasty and diverse, with something for everyone. I recommend it without a doubt!
