Xi'an: Exclusive Terracotta Army Tour & Local Family Lunch

It was an unforgettable experience. Our guide Andy was extremely knowledgeable and thoughtful. Thanks to his tips, we managed to skip the queues and get close to the Terracotta Army, allowing us to see it in the best possible way. Since our hotel was located in the Muslim Quarter, the bus picked us up just a 5-minute walk away, which was convenient and punctual. The lunch at Andy’s parents’ home was delicious and well arranged, and his parents were very kind and friendly. Highly recommended!

We had an amazing experience with Andy as our tour guide at the Terracotta Warriors. He was incredibly knowledgeable and explained the history in a way that was both engaging and easy to understand. I was up directly from our hotel, which made everything so convenient. The highlight of the day was definitely the traditional lunch at his family home — all the dishes were authentic, freshly prepared, and absolutely delicious, cooked by his mother and aunt! The tour was small and intimate, which made it even more enjoyable. It allowed everyone to interact easily, share the experience, and even make some new friendly connections along the way. The tour was perfectly organised from start to finish. Andy even recommended for few of us to be dropped off at a different location so we could explore more on foot, including a walk around the city wall and a visit to a pagoda. Overall, a flawless experience. 5 stars to Andy and his entire team — highly recommended!

Super nice tour guide, very knowledgable about the terracotta warriors. If you are a tourist wanting to go too terracotta i would highly recommend you choose this one. The food after the tour was really good aswell. All around 10/10

we stayed at 2nd ring road hotel Xingbo, they pick up us at the hotel. Andy is the owner of travel agent, also tour guide to terracotta package, explain very details during our trip, bring us to the good spot every pit inside terracotta museum, the special is after the tour, he bring us for lunch at his hometown, to enjoy his mom's cooking, very local taste..very recommended to book this tour package...Thanks Andy, see you next time

It was a great experience with Andy, who handled everything from start to finish. I received a lot of information about the city of Xi'an as well as the mausoleum itself. It was a real time and energy saver for such a vast, popular, and historically rich site! As a solo traveler, I really appreciated the lunch provided and cooked by Andy's parents. I had a wonderful, friendly time, chatted with other members of the tour group, and enjoyed a truly authentic meal around the famous rotating tabletop of Chinese dinners. We returned to Xi'an at 3 PM, which left plenty of time for other activities, depending on what you wanted to do. I highly recommend this tour.

We are six Malay Muslims from Singapore. The agency really Muslim freindly...when they invited us to have a lunch at their Boss house cooked by their parents they prepared for us the Halal foods ordered from nearby Muslim Restaurant with plastics cooking fork and spoons...Christina as our guide was superb and freindly plus knowlegeble, suit our SEAsian style and manners. She even allowed us to call her if we encounter any problem to ask while at Xian or any other China's cities. Fully recommended.

We had a terrific day with our guide Andy on this trip. He explained everything in great detail and gave us a great insight into the story of the Terracotta Army. He then brought us to a small village where his mother and mother in law cooked us a lovely traditional home cooked lunch. Overall it was a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend this trip.
