Taipei Full-Day Yangmingshan & Yehliu Geology Tour

Didn't expect the rain to be that bad during the tour but it didn't stop us from enjoying the places we've been to. I specifically looking forward to Qintiangang but didnt see much in Grassland due to fog and it was also too cold. The expertise of our Driver Mr. Cheng was also superb. We enjoyed it and will definitely recommend this.

The driver recommended many places popular with locals. The tour finished earlier than expected; I thought we'd be back in Taipei around 6 PM, but we returned around 3 PM. One hour at Yehliu wasn't enough to see the end of the third section, although I did manage to visit the main attractions. We had an hour at Qingtiangang, but the grassland itself wasn't very exciting, and there wasn't enough time to walk the trail to Lengshuikeng. Perhaps the visit to Qingtiangang could be shortened to half an hour, and Yehliu extended to an hour and a half. The time at Xiaoyoukeng was sufficient. The Flower Clock can be skipped; instead, the cherry blossom path near it is worth photographing. At Zhuzihu, we only had time to eat, and after lunch, there was no time to see the calla lilies, though the restaurant the driver recommended was good. We had enough time at Beitou Geothermal Valley, but couldn't visit other areas.

honestly the itinerary is good, we arrived Yehliu slightly before 8am, which made us the first few tourists in the whole park. Yangmingshan supposedly to be the focus of the day tour, however we had a very misty foggy weather , didn’t get to see much views 😂 nonetheless I like this tour , 730am to 2pm, which is not very tiring. Our driver Mr Zhou is friendly, he bought baked sweet potatoes to treat us. The team that organised the tour and pick up drop of services is very professional and efficient. But be aware that this is a car pool service , not a guided tour, so it might not be suitable for everybody.

This grassland tour was one of the highlights of my trip to Taiwan! The scenery was absolutely stunning—wide open landscapes, fresh air, and endless green views that make you feel completely relaxed. It truly offers some of the best natural views in Taiwan. The tour was well-organized, with plenty of time to walk around, take photos, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. The guide was friendly and informative, adding interesting stories about the area without rushing us. If you love nature, open spaces, and beautiful landscapes, this grassland day tour is a must. A perfect way to experience Taiwan’s natural beauty!

It was a great tour slow and steady. Our driver was the best he was very jolly, explains to us the places we go to and speaks good English. The driver also gave us enough time to take photos in the remaining cherry blossoms site in Taiwan. the operator even offered to take us to Ximending for a free afternoon tea but we were so tired from the early morning flight.

This trip was incredibly worthwhile. Joining the tour group with people from eight different countries was a fascinating experience, allowing me to meet people from various backgrounds. The mountain cherry blossoms on Yangmingshan in spring were exceptionally beautiful and abundant. The bald cypress forest, enveloped in morning mist, looked just like a scene from a Korean drama. The set meal at Zhuzihu was highly praised by my foreign friends, who kept saying how delicious the Taiwanese mountain vegetables were. Many thanks to Mr. Sun and the three tour guides for their thorough care, which made for a wonderful experience.

2nd time to try to using klook on tours like this in Taipei and it was the best. The driver/tour guide Andy Zeng is such a funny, informative and GREAT DRIVER! You will understand this rating if you tried going to this whole tour during raining season. The fog was instense which we did not expect but navigation and driving skill level 100%! ALSO FOOD RECO IS LIT! We enjoy the meal and snacks reco along each stops. Also the partner of klook is VERY proactive, 3days before your tour they will already reachout to set expectations to help travelers prepare and they provide good guide information on where and when to meet. SO YES! BOOK IT. Don't think. As for Mr. Andy Zeng, he is good!

This was my first time experiencing a day tour in Taiwan, and honestly, it didn't quite meet my expectations. There was no special commentary at any of the attractions; we just got on and off at designated spots, often feeling lost about where to start after getting off the bus. The Flower Clock stop felt unnecessary. Also, perhaps because it was the off-season, the tour ended early. More time should have been allocated to Yehliu, and the time at Qingtiangang wasn't enough to complete the trail. Furthermore, the driver we had seemed to have a different itinerary than what was originally planned. Although it took some time, we eventually reverted to the original schedule. Each stop felt like a quick glance, but considering the travel time, it could be an option if you want to check off multiple attractions in one go.

Great tour for those who prefer to a small grou in a private van.Our driver Ted was was very helpful and attentive to us since it was a bit rainy during our trip. Still had fun despite the weather.

the guide was nice the timing of our visit was too foggy to see anything but the other places was quite nice
