Chiang Mai: Blue White Black Temple in Chiang Rai

Pick up instructions were not specific enough. We had to ask several people around if we were waiting in the correct location.

The guide and driver were nice and did their jobs well. The sites were interesting. The main problem is that this just isn't a very good day trip, especially during the hot/burn/smoke season. Six hours of driving. Burning on the sides of the road. I forgot to bring a mask because early pickup. One warm bottle of water provided. Lunch onyour own dime. Tickets to the temples and museum were included. A coolere of cold waters, a pack of masks for the guests, maybe even charging 200 bhat more and including lunch and an ice cream - those would have made the difference. A few cheap candies passed around during the boring van ride. Getting the guests to introduce themselves to each other. The footbath was a too short treat. Like I said though, nice guide and driver doing their jobs well - the issue is probably with higher ups pinching pennies. Those pennies would have demanded a better rating.
