What to expect

The Palazzo Ducale, or "Doge’s Palace," was the seat of Venetian political power for centuries. This tour offers entry to the splendid rooms adorned with masterpieces of art where the Duke and his council governed a 1,000-year-old republic.

An expert guide will bring the palace to life, showcasing the halls of power and diving into the historical context of the European Middle Ages. Marvel at the rich details of the gold staircase and the remarkable realism of the scenes created by the artists who decorated the building.

Experience the anguish of prisoners crossing the famous Bridge of Sighs and explore the Venetian prisons, famously housing Giacomo Casanova, among others
