Lake Tekapo Farm Tour

My family of 7pax, ranging from the elderly to 4 children all thoroughly enjoyed our trip. It’s a very educational trip as we see how big the farm really is; how farmer make use of technology to cut down on manpower required on such vast piece of land; how they do crop rotation and have sheep out there to rotate on different pastures. The trip also showed sheep shearing, sheep herding demonstration and ended with a petting zoo experience with all the rescued animals. It is very engaging for city dwellers like us an a definite eye opener. Very well worth the money. special thanks to our guide, andy, for being patient and explain with such passion.

It’s a very unforgettable and wonderful memory. First of all, we were arranged to take a four-wheel drive to tour the entire farm. Then, you can take photos with the animals up close and feed them. I have never had these experiences in Hong Kong, so I highly recommend them. Animals are friendly and won't hurt people

I chose New Zealand for my honeymoon. It was one of the best memories among many tours. The guide was very kind from the first meeting. And it explains animals in detail and tells them their habits, topography characteristics, animal food, and so on. Thank you for having a great experience for our newlyweds.

I recently booked a tour that unfortunately had to be canceled due to weather conditions. However, the organizer was incredibly accommodating and offered us a free petting zoo tour instead. I’m so glad they did! The petting zoo experience turned out to be delightful and felt more like a private tour, which made it feel special. Our guide, Wilson, was outstanding—his knowledge about the animals was impressive and made the visit even more enjoyable. He shared fascinating facts and was so engaging, keeping us all entertained throughout the tour. The animals were absolutely adorable, and it was heartwarming to interact with them in such a friendly environment. I highly recommend this tour to others! We had a guided tour in the highland of Mount Hay with great explanation from Steve. We got to see and feed farm animals, and took stunning photos of Lake tekapo from peak. Excellent experience and worth the price. Must go in Tekapo!

Don't think that you'll spend a lot of time with animals like in the picture. It's literally a farm experience, so you won't spend much time with animals.
