Fantastic 5.0
It is affordable but only around 8 slides are opened, it would be better to visit it after they open up every slides!

Fantastic 5.0
We had a great time with a family at the Minera resort. A place full of relaxation with a lot of mineral pool and bath. Nice forest and crodolile feeding.

Fantastic 5.0
It wasn't as big as I expected, and even on a weekday, there were quite a few people. The pool was much smaller than I thought. The view was nice since it's on a mountain.

The trip was enjoyable and filled with valuable learning experiences. The locations we visited were wonderful, and our tour guide, Henry, was knowledgeable, professional, and reassuring throughout the journey.

Fantastic 5.0
Our tour guide was very informative and helpful. We didn't expect to be walking 900+ steps to the hands of the Jesus Christ Statue (and another 900+ steps back down) but the view was inside breathtaking. The beach was very warm and calm. Great sights for a day tour in Vung Tau City.

What to know before visiting Vung Tau

Top experiences at a glance

Vung Tau City is best known for its lively water parks, followed by a strong showing of day tours and scenic cable car rides; museums appear too but make up a much smaller share of bookings. Demand rises sharply toward the middle of the year, peaking in 06 and dropping off toward 11, so the visitor rhythm of the year tilts toward summer activity.

Best activities for different traveller types

Families will gravitate toward water parks for child-friendly thrills and straightforward fun, with cable cars as a scenic alternative that suits mixed-age groups. Couples often pick tours and cable car experiences for relaxed sightseeing and photography opportunities. Solo travellers and small groups can find good value in tours and the citys museums, which are the easiest, lowest-cost way to add cultural context.

What travellers from Malaysia should book ahead

Most things in Vung Tau can be booked with flexibility — travellers commonly lock in plans only a day or two ahead, though the earliest planners start booking about one day in advance. Booking ahead becomes more important in the peak month of 06, when demand is noticeably higher and availability tightens.

How the categories compare on price and who they suit

Museums are the easiest, lowest-cost entry point for budget-conscious travellers, while tours sit at the top of the price range and also offer the widest spread of options from basic to premium. Water parks sit in the mid-to-low range and are a reliable family pick, and cable cars are mid-range, appealing to couples and sightseers looking for a scenic experience. If you want the broadest choice of styles and price points, tours are where variety is greatest.
