Fantastic 5.0
I went to several places but kept getting turned away because of the language barrier — it was really discouraging as a foreign visitor. Then I found Ri Beauty Spa in Kawasaki and what a difference! The staff were so warm and welcoming from the moment I walked in, and communication was never a problem. I instantly felt relaxed and at ease. The massage was wonderful and the whole atmosphere was calm and comfortable. They even served lovely cakes and tea that were absolutely delicious — such a thoughtful touch. If you're a tourist worried about the language, this is the place to go. Thank you so much!

It's convenient, not crowded, and you don't have to wait too long. The roller coaster is amazing, there's a mountain area, and plenty of children's games, so it's great for families with kids. Transportation is easy, and it's close to Pokemon Kanto. If you want to go Pokemon hunting, remember to book your tickets two months in advance!

The intricate and seamless railway system is undoubtedly a major reason why Japan deeply attracts travelers worldwide today. Exploring Tokyo by subway is truly thanks to Japan's powerful rail system! Although I'm not a railway enthusiast, after visiting the Tokyo Metro Museum, I was truly impressed by the history of Japan's railways and their current precise operational status. It's also because of such a convenient and developed subway network that I've been able to easily navigate the streets of Tokyo's 23 wards this past month, embarking on daily adventures. Recently, I've been using 2-day or 3-day subway passes to successfully explore this massive underground labyrinth!

Would definitely recommend this tour. great value for money- small personalised group (ours was only 4 and this is apparently the norm). Even if your a regular race-goer Tokyo racecourse and the Japanese system is totally different and without this tour and our guide we would not have enjoyed, experienced everything, gained such great seats or understood the day as much as we did. it’s also a way to enjoy Tokyo like a local - we were practically the only tourists there!

Amazing experience with excellent service from the guides! Very friendly, insightful, and thoughtful to our situation considering that this is the first time we watched live football match in Japan! Highly recommended!

Chill and relaxing place! I thought the place was small but the area covered appeared to be big. There’s so much more to see besides the beautiful garden.

What to know before visiting Kawasaki

What to expect in Kawasaki

Kawasaki’s things-to-do list is led by Theme parks, Museums, Cultural experiences, Zoos & aquariums and Massages, a spread that suits families, culture seekers and people after pampering. That mix means you can book big-ticket, experience-led activities or quick museum stops depending on your mood. Demand peaks in December and is quietest in September, so holiday-season visits are noticeably busier while September offers the best chance of fewer crowds for the same attractions.

How to choose what to book

The key choice is whether you prioritise budget or experience: the category with the widest price range lets you find everything from affordable options to high-end treatments, while the narrow-range categories keep prices predictable. For a wide spread look at Massages, with typical prices around MYR 316 and a usual range from MYR 49 to MYR 568, ideal if you want either a quick, cheap session or a premium spa day. Museums are the most affordable way in for filling gaps, with a typical price of MYR 28, and Theme parks give a solid mid-range option with a typical price of MYR 114 where what’s included can vary between operators.

When travellers from Malaysia book

Most travellers book about 7 days ahead, while the earliest planners book around 24 days out. Plan on that one-week cushion for regular visits, and add extra lead time if you’re travelling in December when demand peaks.

How prices compare across categories

The table below shows how Kawasaki’s top categories compare on price so you can set a budget before choosing.

Category Typical Price Usual Range
Theme parks MYR 114 MYR 73 – 146
Museums MYR 28 MYR 20 – 28
Cultural experiences MYR 677 MYR 637 – 685
Zoos & aquariums MYR 57 MYR 57 – 61
Massages MYR 316 MYR 49 – 568

Typical price is the median paid on Klook; the usual range covers the middle half of bookings, so cheaper and pricier options exist outside it; prices are shown with their currency code. Based on Klook booking data, August 2025 – July 2026.
