Going after 3 pm is absolutely the way to go, the tickets are so much cheaper and once the sun goes down its the most beautiful place on Earth. I don't enjoy rides very much but the park still had so many things to keep me entertained. I only wish I had brought my kids with me, they would have loved it!

The greater Tokyo Explorer Pass is definitely worth the money. It saved me a lot of Singapore dollars, and it's easy to book all three attraction points. I was able to book for different dates, and it is quite convenient. No hassle, I would definitely book again. convenience: ease of redemption:

HANA・BIYORI was such a charming and beautifully curated experience. The entire place felt serene, elegant, and incredibly well-kept — perfect for anyone who appreciates nature, aesthetics, and a more refined kind of leisure. What I loved most was how calming and visually captivating the whole experience was. It’s the kind of place where you can simply slow down, enjoy the scenery, and appreciate the beauty of each detail. There were so many picturesque corners, making it ideal for photos while still feeling relaxing rather than overwhelming. Booking through Klook also made everything very seamless and convenient, which made the overall experience even better. It’s definitely a destination I would recommend if you’re looking for something a little more special, and memorable during your trip. Overall, HANA・BIYORI is a lovely place to visit whether you’re with family, friends, or your partner. It offers such a refreshing atmosphere, and it’s absolutely worth experiencing at least once.

Would definitely recommend this tour. great value for money- small personalised group (ours was only 4 and this is apparently the norm). Even if your a regular race-goer Tokyo racecourse and the Japanese system is totally different and without this tour and our guide we would not have enjoyed, experienced everything, gained such great seats or understood the day as much as we did. it’s also a way to enjoy Tokyo like a local - we were practically the only tourists there!

Amazing experience with excellent service from the guides! Very friendly, insightful, and thoughtful to our situation considering that this is the first time we watched live football match in Japan! Highly recommended!

I went to several places but kept getting turned away because of the language barrier — it was really discouraging as a foreign visitor. Then I found Ri Beauty Spa in Kawasaki and what a difference! The staff were so warm and welcoming from the moment I walked in, and communication was never a problem. I instantly felt relaxed and at ease. The massage was wonderful and the whole atmosphere was calm and comfortable. They even served lovely cakes and tea that were absolutely delicious — such a thoughtful touch. If you're a tourist worried about the language, this is the place to go. Thank you so much!

they’re not messing around when they throw around the word, “authentic”. you get to go to an actual sumo stable out in the boonies of Tokyo. they will even shuttle you to the sumo stable and back from the shin Kawasaki station. once you get there you’re met with someone that will explain all the details behind the origin, ranks, rules. afterward, you get to experience it by getting a chance to condition and wrestle a retired sumo wrestler. incredibly entertaining as they go through the rules. they will also prepare you a traditional meal afterwards and answer any questions you may have. ends with a hand print(autograph) poster experience you get to take home! the merch there is also really cool! make sure to have cash for that!

What to know before visiting Kawasaki

Kawasaki’s top things to do through the year

Kawasaki is mainly known for its theme parks, which dominate bookings, followed by museums, cultural experiences and zoos & aquariums; demand peaks around January and dips sharply in June. The city’s busiest months push family-friendly theme-park visits up, while quieter months see far fewer bookings across categories.

What different travellers tend to enjoy here

Families will gravitate to the theme parks and zoos & aquariums — these offer straightforward, kid-friendly entertainment and are the most-booked options. Couples often pick cultural experiences or quieter museum visits for a more relaxed, insider feel. Solo travellers and small groups can use museums and short cultural experiences to explore at their own pace, while massages provide a wider range of price and service levels for those after some downtime.

What travellers from Australia usually book ahead

If you’re travelling from Australia, most things in Kawasaki can be booked a few days out, giving you flexibility when your plans are compact; the earliest planners still tend to lock things in around three weeks ahead, and that matters most in the peak months of January. During January and the other busy periods it’s worth booking sooner rather than later to secure popular time slots.

How the main categories compare on price and who they suit

Museums are the easiest way in price-wise, typically the most budget-friendly option for visitors, while cultural experiences sit at the priciest end and appeal to travellers after a deeper, more curated encounter. Theme parks sit in the mid-range and are the big-volume draw for families, offering consistent pricing and broad appeal. Massages show the widest spread of options — from entry-level to premium — making them suitable for travellers on many budgets seeking relaxation.
