Nijō Castle tours

A really great tour to get an overview of historic Tokyo and Japan in a single day, we didn’t have much time in Kyoto so it was perfect to see a lot, our guide was knowledgeable and kept everyone’s energy up over a big day. The only downside of this is you don’t get much time at each stop, keep in mind that this is a quick tour of everything and you’ll be fine or choose to go to less stops on another tour where you can spend longer.

I’m 30 and I took this tour with a teenager and a senior, and we all had a great time! Our guide was Ted Chan, and he was wonderful. Ted remembered all our names and faces quickly, and did a great job making sure we were having a good time and no one got lost or left behind. For this tour you get driven by bus to the attractions and the guide will take you to the entrance of each place to let you explore on your own. Ted was great at recommending things to do for every energy level, and this tour in particular had a nice variety of places. Ted kept us entertained during the bus ride and it was wonderful to have an air conditioned bus to drive us between places. We had a great time talking with Ted and the other tour members, and it felt like we were all friends by the end. Ted told us about the history of all the places and also shared his personal stories. You can tell he’s passionate about his job. Highly recommend this tour and it’s extra lucky if you get Ted as your tour guide!

Our tour of Nijo Castle with Naoya was an incredible experience. He was very professional, spoke excellent English, and explained the history of the site in a way that was both clear and engaging. The location itself is breathtaking, and having such a knowledgeable guide made it even more special. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and truly great value for money. Highly recommended!

Jasmine was a wonderful tour guide! She was very knowledgeable and made the tour very fun and interesting! Her English was excellent and I learned a lot and got some wonderful pictures. Highly recommend this tour for a great history lesson on the Shogun and Meji.

A wonderful tour in Kyoto with our very energetic tourguide Mai San and our very patient driver. The tour was indeed smooth and planned well. The food for lunch was good and had alpt of varities to choose from. I would love to recommend Japan Panoramic tours ro those who want to experience Kyoto's relaxed environment.The tour had alot of stops and all of it was amazing, nice views and good history. Thank you Kyoto for an amazing experience.

Our trip to Kyoto was fantastic. We had an excellent tour guide, Alejandro (Ale), who was very knowledgeable and kept the experience both interesting and fun. He made sure we all reached our destinations safely and enjoyed our time. The trip itself was a lot of fun albeit rushed, as we managed to see the entire city in just one day. We visited five different spots, spending about an hour to an hour and a half at each location. While having more time at each stop would have been nice, our day was quite full — starting at 7 a.m. and ending at 6 p.m. Overall, it was a packed but wonderful experience!

The driver was very patient and friendly. The trip was comfortable and safe. My family and I are very grateful, and we all had an unforgettable day!
