Fantastic 5.0
We went at night and the view was spectacular. We were able to gaze at the skyscrapers and navy pier, enjoy the night scenery of Chicago from high above. The booking was also very convenient snd easy where we just decided to visit at 8pm and managed to book instantly for 9:30pm entry.

Fantastic 5.0
The meeting point was clear and easy for guests to find. The introduction to security checks and onboard safety made passengers feel at ease. The tour guide, Emily, was very professional, using an appropriate tone and voice to clearly introduce Chicago's modern glass and historic architecture. The seating on the boat was spacious and clean, and enough time was reserved for tourists to take photos and make memories.

An amazing museum, the Field Museum has one of the world's finest collections of paleontology and fossils. The museum is located in Grant Park. Here are the must-see treasures and permanent exhibits in the museum: SUE the T. rex This is not only the museum's absolute signature attraction, but also the largest and best-preserved (with 90% skeletal completeness) Tyrannosaurus rex fossil in existence. Located in the Griffin Halls of Evolving Planet on the second floor, it is paired with special lighting and multimedia animations to let you fully experience the overwhelming presence of this apex predator from 67 million years ago.   Máximo the Titanosaur Upon entering the museum's soaring main hall, this gigantic creature will immediately catch your eye. Máximo is currently the largest dinosaur known to humanity (about 121 feet long, weighing 70 tons in life). This replica is so large that visitors on the second-floor walkway can take photos directly at eye level with its head.   Inside Ancient Egypt This exhibit simulates the interior passageways of an ancient Egyptian tomb, making you feel like an explorer venturing deep into a dark burial chamber. It features 23 real human mummies and over 30 animal mummies, detailing the embalming and mummification process with a deeply immersive atmosphere.   Griffin Halls of Evolving Planet In addition to seeing SUE, this hall comprehensively traces the evolutionary history of Earth's life from single-celled organisms to human ancestors. Along the way, you can see precious fossils of dozens of prehistoric beasts, including saber-toothed cats, woolly mammoths, and Triceratops, offering plenty of educational value and visual impact.

An attraction well worth visiting. The Ledge (glass balcony): This is the biggest highlight of the Skydeck. Located on the 103rd floor, it features several fully transparent glass boxes extending 1.2 meters outward. Standing on them and looking down, you are suspended entirely in mid-air, offering an intensely thrilling visual experience and the best spot for taking stunning high-altitude photos of Chicago. The tallest observation deck in the United States: The Willis Tower is currently the third-tallest building in North America. On a clear day, visibility reaches up to 50 miles, allowing you to span the borders of four states at once (Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, and Michigan) and take in the magnificent views of Lake Michigan and the urban skyline.

“An absolutely world-class museum with an incredible collection of art from different periods and cultures. The exhibits were beautifully curated, and the atmosphere was inspiring and relaxing at the same time. Seeing famous masterpieces in person was unforgettable. The staff were helpful, and the museum was clean and well organized. Definitely a must-visit when in Chicago.”

One of the best ways to experience Chicago! The tour was informative, relaxing, and the city skyline views were stunning. Learned so much about Chicago’s architecture while enjoying the river cruise.

A very convenient way to see the major tourist destinations in the city because there's no need to think about which bus/train to get on, just find the bus stop and off you go!

What to know before visiting Chicago

What to expect in Chicago

The things-to-do catalogue here is led by Observation decks, Attraction passes, Museums, Cruises and Tours in that order, giving travellers options from quick viewpoint visits to multi-attraction passes and longer guided experiences. That spread means you can mix a single iconic stop with a pass or a cruise depending on how much you want to pack into each day. Demand peaks in May and is quietest in February, so May visits are noticeably busier while February bookings taper off and can be easier to slot into the same experiences.

How to choose what to book

The main decision is whether you want a single attraction or a bundled pass — choose between single-site visits and multi-attraction passes. Attraction passes offer the widest price range, typically around MYR 462 with a usual range from MYR 405 – 572, so they suit travellers who value flexibility and want room to upgrade.

If you want the most straightforward, affordable option for filling gaps, Tours are the most affordable way in with a typical price around MYR 114, while Museums and Observation decks sit in a compact mid-range where shopping around gains less because their prices are closer together.

When travellers from Malaysia book

Most travellers book very close to travel, typically around 1 days ahead, and the earliest planners tend to book about 8 days ahead. Plan on booking within a week or so rather than months in advance, though that small cushion matters most for visits in May when demand is highest.

How prices compare across categories

The table below shows how the city's top categories compare on price so you can place a budget before choosing.

Category Typical Price Usual Range
Observation decks MYR 126 MYR 114 – 150
Attraction passes MYR 462 MYR 405 – 572
Museums MYR 134 MYR 109 – 158
Cruises MYR 187 MYR 158 – 199
Tours MYR 114 MYR 114 – 191

Typical price is the median paid on Klook; the usual range covers the middle half of bookings, so cheaper and pricier options exist outside it; prices are shown with their currency code. Based on Klook booking data, August 2025 – July 2026.
