The so-called upstream meeting place is the turning point of the Tenjin Festival Ship. The viewing position is within the railing of the river, and the view is completely blocked by the trees on both sides. It's pricey, but highly recommended. Many people have seen the Tenjin Festival, but mostly from a distance or crammed into a park. If you want to fully enjoy the fireworks & boat parade, or want to take beautiful photos, this ticket won't disappoint.

You can comfortably watch the boat moving and the fireworks. You can see the fireworks without purchasing a ticket here, but you'll have to struggle through the crowds. I was satisfied with the price and the experience. There aren't any booths here, so it's best to buy food in advance. Don't cross the bridge; go around the buildings in the back. To get a better view, it's best to arrive early and secure a spot.
