Reviews
A lovely afternoon and great value for money. Rangko cave with its blue lagoon was refreshing, the snorkelling world class and the hilltop view serene. Highly recommend as a precursor to the big Komodo Island day trip!
Our first stop was the legendary Blue Lagoon Cave — The moment I entered the cave, I held my breath in awe. The light rippled across the cave walls in hues of turquoise and azure — so beautiful that I couldn’t bear to look away. Our next destination was supposed to be Boleng Beach, but as the wind picked up and the waves grew restless, the captain changed course, guiding us instead to a nearby reef for snorkeling. The world grew silent; only the soft rhythm of my breathing mingled with the pulse of the sea. As evening fell, we climbed Amelia Hill to watch the sunset. The hill itself was modest in height but breathtaking in beauty. There were no steep paths or rugged climbs — only gentle slopes of wind-shaped grass that rolled toward the horizon. The hill may be small — a fifteen-minute walk to the summit — but from there, you can witness one of the most tender sunsets in the world.
The cave is a bit dark in the morning but also extraordinary. You can peacefully swim in the cave , no snorkeling is allowed. If you choose morning tour, getting to the boat will be a bit challenging dues to low tide. Be careful of the broken wooden bridges at the port. If you would like to killing time before departure, booking this tour is recommended. Amelia hill top view is superb. It is very very hot in October, so be prepared.
Perfect half day tour for those wanting to sleep in and still have a fun time of activities! Great itinerary for the price point and friendly boat guides, definitely try to go when it is sunny so you can see the blue hue of the cave. Be wary of the drive there because it is very windy and on the way back I got dizzy so had to rest for 10 minutes before climbing.
Easy half day tour till noon. My best friend and I took the morning tour but on hind sight, the afternoon tour would've been better. Our guide did say that Amelia Hill aka Love Hill is beautiful during sunset. Snorkeling was nice, Rangko Cave was just an in and out experience. This tour is not extraordinary but may join if you're looking for a chillout tour.
I really enjoyed the snorkelling as it was a small group of only 7 on our boat and the snorkelling spot is very remote,so not crowded with other people (only our group)which was really nice. It was also interesting to go inside the cave. I suggest wearing hiking sandals with good grip for this activity. The public toilets(before snorkelling) are filthy and don't even flush,so would avoid them at all costs.
We had an unforgettable time on this tour. The guide was super friendly and made us feel welcome right from the start. We were picked up on time in a very nice and comfortable car, which added to the overall great experience. The views throughout the trip were absolutely breathtaking—truly a feast for the eyes. Highly recommended!
It’s very easy to book, we just book the tour one day before and get confirmation within minutes. The tour guide didn’t really explain on the history of the places but he guided me in the snorkelling process cause I can’t swim. It’s a nice tour if you have only half day of time
it was great tour, the guide is friendly & helpful..the destination as good as their ads..the track is not hard as i thought..it was only 3 of us which i preferred (private trip vibes)..worth to try if you have only half day spare time
Fantastic tour! Definitely go in the afternoon as you can swim at low tide and have plenty of time to catch the sunset. My driver was attentive and very kind, saved me couple of times from rolling down the tracks. There’re only me and my daughter in the boat so it was like a private tour. Driver also took pictures and videos so we could really enjoy the adventures. Fair warning: you have to be fit as the hiking-paths are really rough and don’t make the same mistake I did, bring pair of shoes for the hike! The swim in the cave really worthed the hellish hike we had to do. Oh and yes, bring Aqua-shoes as the there’re sharp stones jutted out from bottom of cave under water. Overall, worth the money and what an awesome experience!
