During the 7-day 6-night free travel, I specially arranged a day to sign up for a group tour in Kyoto. The main attractions this time were Kinkakuji Temple, Kiyomizu Temple and Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine. The overall itinerary was all the attractions I really wanted to visit. I was super nervous before departure, after all, it was my first time traveling in this way, and I wanted to participate selfishly, but in fact I really felt great. The entire time control and itinerary arrangement were all very appropriate. I would like to thank our tour guide Xiao Fu (Alvin) 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟. During the trip, he explained the history of the attractions in Chinese and English, and shared many recommended restaurants, allowing us to use time quickly and accurately, and he would also remind everyone in the group of the meeting time and place in a timely manner. Our group had a large number of people and we took the bus, but Xiao Fu still cared about everyone's situation, whether there was anything they wanted to eat, etc. He was always willing to help. Especially when my son fell and injured both knees, Xiao Fu immediately went to buy disinfectant and dressings for us. I am really grateful, otherwise we might not be able to have fun. The child felt embarrassed afterwards and wanted to thank this big brother. We returned to Osaka at nearly 6 o'clock and had plenty of time to go shopping. After returning home, everyone felt that they had a fulfilling and happy day.
Booked this tour last minute and didn’t regret it! Frederick was an excellent guide and managed to switch between English and Chinese flawlessly with a group over 20 people. Bus leaves ON TIME so don’t be late. He gives really clear instructions though on where to go and where to meet and what time to be back. Enough free time and instructions of where to take good photos. You’ll need to move quickly at Kiyomizu though if you’re hoping to make it to all the sights. I’d recommend returning if possible and using this tour to get a lay of the land. Well worth the money since Kyoto is so spread out. Expect lots of stairs and walking though.
Beautiful Kyoto. I highly recommend to book this trip when you visit Japan. There are so much to see in Kyoto. Our tour guide Jack is amazing he keeps on reminding us thru text to be back on time just to make sure we will not missed the bus after exploring the spots we visited. Wonderful experience!

Everything was clear from start to finish & google maps links provided for the meet up spots made for an easy tour! he goes above and beyond for his dear guests and we appreciated it! Our tour guide, Frederick (小戴), provided us with an exceptional experience. Our group included speakers of Chinese, English, and Japanese, and he effortlessly switched between all three languages while offering in-depth explanations—especially on the differences between shrines and temples. His directions and recommendations for each destination were clear and helpful, and he enriched our journey with fascinating background information about every stop.
i think this trip is just perfect for a first timer. although its given that its very fast pacing due to time constraint, i believe you have enough time to roam around the see the place. i love that this trip is self guide so you can go to places all you want. and our tour guide, Jack, he made sure everyone is informed by sending everyone a chat where is the location (with link on gmaps) of meet up/pick up on every location so we wont get lost. highly recommended!

we didn’t expect a full tour with this mainly because it was our first time in japan and we had a toddler but we did visit all three locations and took photos however as expected it wasn’t enough time to visit ninenzaka and fushimi inari. the bus driver allowed us to bring a stoller on the bus and the tour guide was always easy accessible on whatsapp. overall satisfied
