This was fantastic, it was so relaxing, a nice break from Osaka and Tokyo. The staff are very polite and lovely, food is authentic the hotel is very clean. My only regret is not staying there for longer.

This place was a highlight of our trip. We loved all of the onsen options- tried all 5 private and both male and female public. so peaceful. The staff was great and the hotel was beautiful. Lovely stay! Thank you so much.

My husband and I and our 10 month old baby just spent a few days here and it was a fabulous experience. The staff were so kind, rooms were a great size for us (we needed space for a pack n play and there was plenty!), and the amenities were lovely. The 24/7 private onsens were amazing especially with the free ice cream afterwards. We loved getting the complimentary late night ramen as well. There was even an area where you could select your pillow preference type. It is a bit far from some of the main tourist attractions but it’s next to a train station so it’s easy to get there. The town it’s in is really lovely as well. Very peaceful and beautiful. Plus the monkey spot and bamboo forest are not too far! The full experience was fabulous, we’d definitely stay here again and I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting!

Wow perfect location and amazing service. I left my passports in Tokyo and they helped me get them back. The onsens were beautiful both public bath and private baths. Everything you need and more would absolutely stay here again. Thank you so much for everything.

I stayed 3 nights coming from Tokyo. It was absolutely easy reachable by public transport to Arashiyama Station, the hotel is just opposite the station. It is very quite and away enough from the mass circus. The hotel is very Japanese (lovely), it has a fabulous onsen which I used every night for relaxation after walking around all day. I had breakfast included, had both Japanese and Western style and definitely prioritize Japanese style (both come as set). Beds were comfy, I slept very well. The hotel caters for people from all over the world. I'd definitely choose it again.
