Kinkakuji, Kiyomizu-dera & Fushimi Inari Full-Day Tour

This day trip product is highly recommended. I had a very meaningful day and will definitely participate again if I have the chance.

This Kyoto day trip was an excellent experience! We visited Kinkaku-ji, Kiyomizu-dera, and Fushimi Inari-taisha all in one day, and the itinerary was well-planned, never feeling rushed. Our tour guide was very dedicated and responsible, providing detailed explanations. They also proactively helped with photos and reminded us of meeting times, showing great care for the tourists. The overall experience was relaxed and enjoyable, making it perfect for first-time visitors to Kyoto. Highly recommended!

Pros 1. Hits many must see spots. 2. Very affordable price. Cons: 1. Meeting spot was hard to find. 2. Tour guide is English speaking but with a very thick accent. 3. Bus was HOT, air conditioning not working 4. Bus is tiny, cramped 5. last "BUT MOST IMPORTANT" don't buy lunch from the tour guide. TOTAL TOURIST TRAP. Driver strongly advised us to Pre-buy lunch stating "although food places are near, they would have long wait lines that would just eat up our tour time. We trusted and pre-purchased lunch. When we arrived at our 3 hour stop we had to eat as soon as we arrived t noon. Sat Family Style. Had to purchase drinks still which were pricey, 3x vending machine prices. Food was acceptabe, nothing amazing. but there are soo many vendors around the spot selling such yummy looking items you will want to try, its a waste to pre-buy a pricey lunch. It's best to purchase your food as you walk around unless you want the sit down resturant experince

I visited Kinkaku-ji, Kiyomizu-dera, and Fushimi Inari-taisha all in one day, and saw almost everything I'd imagined Kyoto to be. Kinkaku-ji was truly stunning with the sunlight reflecting off its golden pavilion. The reflection in the lake looked like a postcard, and it was even more beautiful in person than in pictures. Afterward, I went to Kiyomizu-dera and the Sannenzaka and Ninenzaka streets, which really captured the essence of an ancient Japanese capital. There were many people wearing kimonos, and with the stone paths, wooden houses, and traditional shops, I wanted to stop and take photos every few steps. The atmosphere was absolutely incredible. Although I walked a lot that day, it was completely worth it! If it's your first time in Kyoto, I highly recommend this route. You can experience Kyoto's most classic and iconic scenery and culture all at once. Kyoto truly makes you want to visit again.

A really great day trip experience! It was very convenient departing from Osaka, and I didn't have to figure out transportation myself, which was a huge relief. Kyoto's streets have a very traditional Japanese feel, and Kiyomizu-dera Temple and Gion are perfect for taking photos. The tour guide had an excellent service attitude and was very attentive to both the elderly and children. If my friends come to Japan, I would definitely recommend this itinerary!

I highly recommend this classic Kyoto day tour! You don't have to worry about transportation, and you can easily visit popular attractions like Kinkaku-ji Temple, Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Yasaka Shrine, and Fushimi Inari Shrine all in one day. The streetscape of Sannenzaka and Ninenzaka, in particular, truly captures the traditional Japanese atmosphere; every photo looks like a postcard. The entire itinerary was smooth and fulfilling, and I'd love to join again next time!

I was initially worried that visiting so many attractions in one day would be exhausting, but after participating, I felt the pace was perfectly arranged! Kinkaku-ji Temple was magnificent, Kiyomizu-dera Temple offered incredibly beautiful views, Sannenzaka and Ninenzaka were charmingly historic, and I was able to take many beautiful photos at Fushimi Inari Shrine. Our guide was very professional and also recommended great food and photo spots. I had a wonderful time all day!

Kiyomizu-dera Temple is definitely worth visiting, and the Kyoto streetscapes have a wonderful atmosphere; every photo turned out beautifully.
