Oliver Hill Train and Tunnel 2 Hour Tour from Rottnest Island

this is truly an incredible tour!! the station is closed to the pier, like 10-min walking time. The view is stunning! and I also highly recommended the tunnel tour too! the guide is friendly and knowledgeable. actually, they’re the volunteer from the museum (?) But all of them are passionate and can tell you lots about the practice at that time. if you’re Hong Konger, you could find some shells which has been to HK too!

Although this Mount Olive Train & Rail Tour was changed to a bus tour due to track maintenance, the overall experience was still quite good. The tour guide was very professional and explained the history and culture along the way, giving us a deeper understanding of the local area. Although we couldn't take the train, the bus schedule was very smooth and took us to visit many famous attractions, especially the natural beauty of Mount Oliver which was very impressive. The bus was comfortable and stable, and there were several stops along the way where we could get off to take photos and take a break. The tour guide's enthusiasm and attentive service also added many highlights to this trip. Although I regret not being able to take the train, overall it was a worthwhile experience.

You'll need to walk to the station (about a 15-minute walk from the pier). There are only two stations on the route, and all tours are conducted in English. Overall, it's quite interesting and recommended for tourists who don't plan to cycle around the island!

The train ride is approximately 20 minutes each way. Upon arrival, a local guide will introduce you to the history of the local tunnels, but it's recommended that you have a good understanding of English to fully appreciate the tour.

This tour is a nice way to see the interior of the island without having to walk or bike inland. Informative and educational guide of the tunnels used during the war.

Putting all the pieces together for a day trip to Rottnest is complicated, so it was nice to be able to do two in one. I'm not sure whether I actually saved any money, but it was worth it to be easier to book.

Wayne the guide for the bus tour around Rottnest island was also very helpful. He went out if his way to ensure we get to do the wonderful bus tour after sorting out our lunch. Highly recommended visit.
