Reviews
We had a wonderful time on this cruise. The Hauraki Gulf was breathtaking, and the guided tour provided both comfort and interesting commentary throughout the journey. Even though we did not get to see the whales this time, the experience was still very enjoyable and memorable. The stop at Man O’ War Vineyards was a highlight—relaxing, scenic, and the perfect opportunity to enjoy local wines and food at our own pace. The crew were welcoming and attentive, making the day feel well-organized and pleasant. A great experience overall, and we would happily recommend this tour.
amazing trip. Captain James and his crews were knowledgeable about surrounding islands, structures, birds and dolphins species. we were really lucky to see the dolphins and gannets working alongside one another and an Australian navy ship.
We recently went on a whale and dolphin watching trip, and while we didn’t spot any whales this time, we were lucky to see a large number of dolphins, which was still an amazing experience! Watching them swim and play alongside the boat was definitely a highlight. The tour also included a stop at a Man O War vineyard, which turned out to be a lovely surprise. We enjoyed a delicious meal there in a beautiful setting, making the trip feel even more special. Overall, even without the whales, the experience was very satisfying and well worth it. The combination of wildlife, scenery, and great food made for a memorable day. Would definitely recommend!
Punctual trip and able to see dolphins but unfortunately no whales, drop off at Waiheke island for vineyard lunch was great
I loved this activity. The original date I booked couldn't go ahead because of bad weather but they were super helpful at the desk and quickly booked me on for the next available date which happened to be the next day. The staff were both friendly and knowledgeable about the boat. We saw common dolphin, australasian ganets and little blue penguins on our trip.
The overall service was very good, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, I could only see a few dolphins that day, and not the rest. Disappointed but satisfied with the service.
the service at the place are good. too bad it's windy day but still manage to see some dolphins. Kid's happy for the day.
This time they arranged for us to go out to sea on a small boat, and the waves were quite big. Although the weather was good, we didn't see any whales or dolphins. The captain was already very good and drove very far, but still didn't find any, which was a little disappointing. However, the crew was very friendly, and in the end, we paid our own way to Man O' War vineyard for lunch, and the food quality was very good.
The itinerary was satisfactory, but I felt that the food provided on the ship lacked variety and there was no microwave to help slightly heat the food.
Wonderful trip, enjoy so much
