How to get to Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park?
To get to Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park, you need to travel to Dong Hoi City, Quang Binh Province, approximately 500 km from Hanoi and 1,000 km from Ho Chi Minh City. Transportation options to Dong Hoi City vary, such as direct flights from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, and trains (North-South, SE, or QB trains connecting to Dong Hoi Station). Driving a car or motorcycle is also an option for those who want to explore the landscapes along the way. National Highway 1A and Ho Chi Minh Road have been upgraded, reducing travel time to Phong Nha - Ke Bang. The national park is about 45 km from the center of Dong Hoi City. You can take QL16 (Phan Dinh Phung Street) from the city for about 40 km to the Phong Nha Ke Bang entrance, then turn left following the signs to the national park entrance!
