the food buffet spread is simply amazing! everything you would crave for; lobster, crab legs, oysters, shrimps, steak, lamb chop, peking duck, sushi & sashimi and much more! the durian concoctions are both unique and delicious; ice cream, tart, cakes, etc.! plus, all the staff are friendly & attentive to service!

The buffet at Hotel Icon is famous for its high quality food. This time I went with my husband for weekend brunch and it was an unforgettable experience. We were seated by the window, overlooking the hotel grounds. Perhaps because of the large number of customers, the tables and seats were crowded. In addition to the famous durian food, the autumn theme also includes crab. The cold dishes include crab meat and fruit salad and long-legged crab. The crab meat is fresh and sweet, not just salty. In addition, there are crab porridge and crab noodles, which are very fresh and sweet. There are many types of fish, each one is very fresh, the scallops are very big, the salmon is full of oil, there are also sweet shrimps, crispy octopus, and tuna full of oil. The roast beef and lamb chops were tender and meaty, without any sauce, they were full of gravy. Desserts include Godiva's 70% chocolate and milk soft ice cream, as well as Häagen-Dazs in cups. Each dessert is small, allowing guests to try multiple varieties. If you like drinking, there is unlimited sparkling wine. In addition to tea, coffee, lemon tea/water, and juice, the beverage options also include the more distinctive bamboo cane grass root water, orange water, etc. The food is of good quality and definitely worth visiting again.

I did also try the Chinese restaurant (above and beyond) from this hotel with amazing service and good quality of the food. very satisfying, good services. for THE MARKET buffet have a lot of DURIAN dessert choices. for durian lovers, you must try. not only that, don’t forget to eat the GODIVA ice cream which is you can eat as much as you want😂

The restaurant was pretty full when I arrived and the buffet area looked a little small but it had everything I wanted. Staff were friendly and efficient. They quickly cleared plates and the cooks kept all the dishes replenished. The chilled crawfish and lobsters were great. The snow crab was a bit watery but decent. The sashimi was okay, but nothing special. They also had some Alaskan crab/King crab dishes. The chef at the grilled King crab was very slow, maybe intentionally to keep cost down, but there were other king crab dishes that were good too. The dessert section had a durian focus which I don't like so I had the Godiva ice cream and panna cotta. They also have a wide selection of beverages including hot and ice tea and coffee as well as juices.

It was my first time to try The Market at Hotel Icon. It was a Monday but 80-90% of the seats were still occupied. Because there were elderly people dining with me that day, they were not used to the arranged backrest seats. The staff quickly solved the problem and re-installed it. Arrange sofa seating, thank you very much! As for the catering, the styles are suitable. What’s surprising is the large tree pineapple that is rarely available in the buffet. It’s very fresh! In terms of durian, the durian sauce is the best, and the ice cream makes it even more colorful. The frozen seafood is all refreshing and chewy, and the meat is fresh and sweet, while the crab legs have a strong sea taste, a little salty but still delicious. There are plenty of beverage options, including four types of juices and hot and cold coffee and lemon tea to choose from. Special mention is made of the crab-flavored seafood porridge, which is very filling and full of flavor. Every waiter is friendly and polite and will take the initiative to introduce food options. And they will try their best to meet the conditions. Because I forgot to mention the birthdays of two of my companions when booking, I asked if they could arrange a disc writing service when I arrived. They only arranged it, and it was unexpectedly beautiful. I will try Brunch again if I have the opportunity!

The dishes are rich and attractive. I went out and grabbed food three times and there was still something I wanted to try. I felt so full after eating. There are many choices of salad fruits. Cold cuts and seafood are all OK, and there are many choices of cold cut cheese. Thai food is too spicy for my taste, so there is coconut chicken soup and tom yum goong. The yusheng chef cuts it very thickly. There are many choices of cooked food, including beef, sheep, pigs, fish and shrimp, and there are two or three varieties of each. When making durian desserts at home, the homemade ice cream is very creamy. It should be durian puree and cream, so it has the original flavor. There were mountains of durian fruit, and some were carrying ice cream cones and eating them as ice cream. There is a coffee machine and four types of juices to choose from. There are both Chinese and Western soups.

the food is really good, if you like seafood, then the buffet will be suitable for you. the dessert is pretty good, durian is the main dessert but there are other selections if you don’t like durian. overall, great food selection.
