Booking with Klook was convenient because I didn't have to negotiate myself. I could also specify the drop-off location in advance. It had been a while since I rode a cyclo, and I enjoyed seeing Hanoi at dusk from a different perspective. You can take in the sights at a leisurely pace, unlike on a motorbike or in a car. However, there's a lot of exhaust fumes, so a mask might be essential.

Was a fun little experience. Felt bad for the driver as it was a hot and humid day. It's a cheap and fun tour. So tip the drivers well!

Areas for Improvement: Lack of Airflow: Doing the tour at noon was extremely hot. The cyclo my family member rode had no fan attached, making the ride quite uncomfortable under the midday sun. Installing small personal fans on all cyclos would dramatically improve guest comfort during hot hours. Conflicting Tipping Policy: The travel agency explicitly told us before departure that tipping was not required. However, upon arrival at the end of the tour, the cyclo drivers actively asked us for tips. The agency and the driver team need to coordinate better on tipping guidelines to avoid awkward situations for guests.

extremely disappointed. half the itinerary wasn’t done as closures, however after prepaying I was happy to give a tip but driver demanded almost what we paid. very disappointing
