Review for: Different Taste of Hong Kong

A very informative and educational tour by Ricky, whom brought us around Hong Kong island while feeding us with juicy little tidbits on the history of each location. Ricky also provided some of his personal view as a local, and this helped us to gain a perspective of the locals’ lives in Hong Kong. Enjoyed this tour extremely!

There were only two of us who availed of this tour but the same proceeded per the itinerary minus the visit to the Ap Lei Chau outlet mall which was fine since we weren't really interested in shopping for designer brands. The tour around Hong Kong island was pretty informative, giving us a different taste of the culture, lifestyle and livelihood of the locals. This tour takes you from Victoria Harbor to the busy streets of Central straight to Causeway Bay and Aberdeen, ending at the Wah Fu housing estate in South Horizons. You also get to experience 3 traditional modes of transportation that are still in use today. My only complaint was that the lunch provided was not so much a Hong Kong style restaurant but more of an eatery/canteen where the diners come from all walks of life--- they could have been more clear on that.

Met up with tour guide. Only two of us for this batch, so had a private tour. He was nice, explained everything well with his own opinions too. Not a super hyper engeric guy. Tour it's was as per description.
