How to get there
- By bus: Take the Tokyo Bay Aqualine Express Bus to Kimitsu Station, then take the direct bus from Kimitsu Station to Mother Farm. Or take a train from Kimitsu Station to Sanuki-cho Station on the JR Uchibo Line, and then take a local bus from Sanuki-cho Station to the Mother Farm Makiba Gate.
- By train: Take the JR Sobu Line or Keio Line to Kimitsu station (Approx. 1 hour 30 minutes from Shinjuku Station) then take the bus to the mother farm from Kimitsu Station. (Approx. 30 minutes)
- By car: Coming from Chiba, Tokyo, or Kanagawa via Tateyama Expressway or Aqua-line: Approx. 8 km from Kimitsu PA Smart IC (ETC vehicles only), Approx. 15 km from Kisarazu Minami IC, Approx. 14 km from Kimitsu IC

easy to use. just find the date that you want to attend and buy the ticket online. No need to redeem the ticket at the entrance. just use QR code on the app. there are many activities to do. I love the picking fresh strawberry at the garden. It need to pay extra for this activity, but it’s worth for money. 🍓🩷

Finally visited this farm which is a bit further away from Tokyo. But once there, the 2+hour train journey was so worth it. I get to interact with the animals & lovingly gently touch them. The farm area was so big & had many interesting sections! The main stage show in the big hall is the best! Will definitely visit again in a different season!

A wonderful day surrounded by nature and animals!
Chiba Mother Farm is a lovely place for a relaxing and enjoyable day, especially for families. The scenery is beautiful, with wide open spaces, fresh air, and stunning views. Interacting with the animals was a highlight, and the farm activities were fun, educational, and well organized.
The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the facilities were clean and well maintained. There were plenty of activities for children, seasonal events, and delicious farm-fresh food to enjoy. It’s a perfect escape from the city and a place we would happily visit again. Highly recommended!

First time to a sheep show! Very fun experience! I went during the end of autumn coming to winter. The place was very foggy which gives a magical look. I feel like I should've come during summer or spring where the flowers bloom. Other than the weather, the place is filled many types of animals and shows. Highly recommended for animal lovers or people who love the outdoors :)

Redeeming tickets was quick and easy to use, and the various experiences were also good. You can even see cherry blossoms at Mother Farm in mid-February, but be aware that it's quite cold on the summit in winter, so remember to keep warm.

huge place! do buffer more time to wander around ~ we didn’t even had time to take shuttle to the other side of the farm. pig run was really cute and we were lucky that our gir managed to ballot and ran with a pig for the race

Although the location is a bit remote, the farm is large and the scenery is beautiful. There are also different animals for children to interact with, including sheep, pigs, cows, and rabbits. There's even a small amusement park, which the kids thoroughly enjoyed. Since it was strawberry season, we went to the strawberry patch with the children to pick strawberries. The strawberries on the farm were very fresh, and we ate them right after picking. Both adults and children really enjoyed the day.
