Hoa Lu, Trang An & Incense Quang Phu Cau Village Day Tour from Hanoi

This trip was like a private trip as it was only us on this trip. Our guide was very informative and generous in taking our photos. He gladly answered as well all my questions about Vietnam and its culture and traditions. He gladly shared also some recommendations.

Very nice tour. We enjoyed it very much. Our guide, Zach, was very good and speaks very fluent English. We had nice chats about different topics the whole day. He got a very positive and happy vibe. I thought the Trang An river ride would be boring but turned out very interesting and relaxing. Would recommend to do it on cooler weather though.

Participated in Klook's Perfume Pagoda, Hoa Lu, and Trang An group tour on Christmas Day 2025. That morning, the female tour guide April picked us up from the hotel where we were staying. Grateful that there were only 4 people in the group (the other 2 were an Indian couple), so we had a happy and leisurely time. The female tour guide for the group was young, responsible, and friendly, and also very knowledgeable. She brought her male assistant Mac with her. Grateful for the driver's steady driving, so we had a very happy trip! The first stop was Huong Village (Perfume Pagoda), where we experienced skilled incense artisans demonstrating each step and witnessed the art of incense making. With such a beautiful environment, taking photos is a must! The second stop was a visit to the ancient Vietnamese capital of Hoa Lu, to learn about Vietnamese history under the Dinh, Le, and Ly dynasties' feudal system, and to understand the power struggles between Vietnamese dynasties! Then the included lunch was quite rich and delicious, grateful! The third stop was the Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex. We took a 2-hour boat trip to visit the inland Halong Bay (Trang An Grottoes) and visited this place, which was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2014, to admire the beauty of the magical tunnel caves! My husband and I enjoyed these two hours of boat trip with the tour guide, and while appreciating the beautiful scenery, we also felt peaceful and comfortable in our hearts!

Ninh Binh was really pretty. Trang An river was so tranquil and pictureque, but maybe a bit too long a ride 😅 the history of hoa lu (ancient capital) and the incense factory was interesting. Our guide Andrew is very friendly and knowledgeable. He even gave us some recommendations for food and places to visit in Hanoi and other parts of Ninh Binh 👍🏻

we had a great time with the day trip tour to Incense village, Hua Lu ancient capital of Vietnam, and 2-hour bamboo flat boat ride in Trang An gortto. Our tour guide Mr Tu (Kelvin) is very knowledgeable and speak English very fluently and our driver Mr T is a very safe driver and both of them provided the service beyond our expectation. The tour also provided delicious lunch that include local speciality to creat goat meat spring roll. It was a great experience and we thoroughly enjoy. Thank you, Tu (Kelvin) and Mr T.

We were mesmerized by the beauty of Trang An. The incense village, along with the temples in Ninh Binh, was also very enjoyable. Our day was fun-filled and made extra memorable by our excellent guide, Tyler. I would highly recommend this tour to everyone.

We had an amazing time in Vietnam, and a big part of that was thanks to our wonderful private tour guide, “Leo”, and our skilled and kind driver, “Tien”. Leo was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and always went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. Martin was a great tour guide. Helped us learn more about Ninh Binh’s history as well as gave us local recos on where to have the best coffee and matcha in the old quarter. It was raining when we went to the incense village but the rest of the trip, the weather looked up. I would definitely recommend booking this trip to fam and friends. ♥️

Perfect! A perfect tour. Our guide, Kelvin, was wonderful, very kind and professional, and he tailored the trip to our needs. He even carried my son when he was tired. Highly recommended!
