Hot Air Balloon Experience in Cairns and Port Douglas

We had an absolutely fantastic hot air ballooning experience. The entire crew—Bob, Brownie, and Gavin—were incredibly helpful, friendly, and funny, making the whole trip enjoyable from start to finish. Their professionalism and sense of humor helped everyone feel comfortable and relaxed. The flight itself was exceptionally smooth, and the views were breathtaking. Watching the sunrise from above was truly unforgettable and worth every minute of the early start. Even those who are nervous about heights or flying will likely feel at ease, as the ride is gentle and surprisingly calm. Overall, it was a wonderful experience that exceeded our expectations. A big thank you to Bob, Brownie, and Gavin for making it such a memorable adventure. Highly recommended!

Really good experience! Although it was a bit cloudy that day, the view was still fantastic. The staff was incredibly friendly and took good care to ensure all passengers safely get in and out of the baskets. The fruits, juice and champagne was delicious. Truly a worthwhile experience!

Our driver, Tony, is fluent in both Japanese and English, which made it easy for everyone to smoothly enjoy the activities. There was one English-speaking person in our group, and Tony made sure to include them so they didn't feel isolated, and they seemed to have a great time too. The weather was lovely, and we had some unique experiences like a dog chasing our balloon and spotting wallabies! It was also nice that everyone helped with packing at the end, which created a sense of unity. There were drinks and fruits available, including star fruit, custard apple, and some rare oranges, which were all delicious and enjoyable! I absolutely recommend this experience. It created memories I'll never forget. Even though it was late May, it gets very cold early in the morning, so I recommend bringing an ultralight down jacket.

Information about the pick-up vehicle and driver will be provided before departure. It was my first time to experience a hot air balloon. The overlooking view was very fresh, but the sound of burning gas cylinders was very loud. Some group members brought their own anti-noise earmuffs.

The team was great; Neil, Ben and Brownie who were on duty on 26-DEC-24. Despite starting the tour extremely early (pick-up at 0340hrs for me), Brownie welcome every guest with zest and enthusiasm! We were briefed proper throughout the tour, safety measures were most definitely taken into consideration as well. Refreshments after the balloon-experience was fantastic; champange, OJ and snacks. The balloon-master was able to share information with regard to the geography that we were in and also pointing out the animals! If there is one thing, I would hope that the balloon did not accommodate 20 to 21 people, a little too many for comfort. We also had fun helping and learning how to collapse the canopy!

It was a nice, lovely and peaceful ride. The whole team was humorous and friendly. Glad we did it in Cairns.

The activity redemption is simple, and the pick-up and drop-off locations can be different, which is convenient for arranging travel itineraries. Maybe the travel time is not the peak season, so there are only 2 hot air balloons flying, but the scenery of sunrise and dawn is still beautiful.

It was really fun, and although the process of folding the balloon was a bit tedious, the staff were really friendly and pleasant. Thank you Mark! Also, the scene of the balloon going over the clouds and the clouds below was really fantastic. Recommended!

The trip was generally smooth, but the waiting time was too long. Please ask the staff to be kind and kind, but the photography skills and image quality need to be improved.
