Bruny Island Food, Sightseeing and Exclusive Lighthouse Tour

Shoutout to Jimmy for making our Bruny Island trip today so unforgettable! He's super attentive and gave us a really detailed introduction to the island's history and geography. He is also well known for his sharp eyes in spotting local wildlife—thanks to him, we got to see different wild animals like wallabies and birds! The vibe of the entire group was amazing thanks to him. Love that it's an all-inclusive tour with great food and all tickets sorted out. The tour van was super clean and comfortable too. Highly recommend Jimmy to anyone looking for a top-notch tour!

I had an amazing experience on the Bruny Island gourmet and lighthouse tour. The day was perfectly balanced between delicious food and stunning scenery. We visited several local producers, tasting fresh cheeses, chocolates, and other regional specialties, all of which were excellent. The lighthouse visit was a highlight—the views from the top were breathtaking and offered a great perspective of the island’s rugged coastline. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly, sharing interesting stories about the island’s history, wildlife, and local culture. Overall, it was a memorable day combining gastronomy, nature, and beautiful sights. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Bruny Island.

joined 3 day tours and this is absolutely the best for its value. the itinerary is well thought and planned that you get to do some sightseeing and food tastings on Bruny. Dave, our guide even prepared morning tea with oysters and cheese in the national park, he also showed us where the white wallabies are. what’s more, lunch at Bruny Hotel is also included, and the seafood is fresher than Hobart! A must do tour for Bruny!

We have been to Tasmania a few times but this is our first trip to Bruny Island. The whole experience was incredible aided by the animated guide, Rick. He is so knowledgeable and shared many information along the way. The highlight of the trip was to the Cape Bruny lighthouse, but unfortunately due to weather, we couldn't get out to see the view. I would strongly recommend others to sign up this tour which I think really value for money.

Thank you Jimmy for being a great guide! It was a jam packed all-inclusive day with cheese, oysters, sourdough bread for morning tea by the beach (at 10am, so I recommend eating breakfast before pickup), honey and chocolate tasting, lunch, viewpoints, white wallaby sighting, and the lighthouse. We did it on Saturday where everyone was at Salamanca market so our bus was less full haha. A few pickup options, we did ours at Rydges Hobart. Very fun, highly recommend.

The pickup point was conveniently at the hotel, unlike other tours that start from the tourism center — which was fabulous. The tour guide was very nice, patient, and understanding. Bruny Island was truly a one-of-a-kind experience. We crossed the strait to reach the islands, spotted an albino kangaroo, tasted fresh oysters, chocolates, and honey, and enjoyed a delicious lunch. The lookouts were absolutely breathtaking. I also met new friends who were traveling solo, which made the trip even more special. :)

kudos to our tour guide (Dave) was very informative and funny!! The Bruny Island day tour with lunch and food samples included was a wonderful experience and good value!! Make sure not to miss this if you're planning a trip to Tasmania!

Definitely go with Bruny Island Safaris if you’re thinking of going to Bruny Island! (they are the first to come up with this tour & also gives you access to the inside of lighthouse). Kudos to our guide Jimmy who shared alot of stories, anecdotes of Bruny Island, and also prepared the picnic for us by the beach! A super fun & enjoyable experience, where you get to visit sights and also taste the best of Bruny Island! (Jimmy also made sure we are educated consumers) Lunch was good too (we had seafood platter)! P.S my mum enjoyed it so much that she had to remind me everyday to write this review!

This was a fantastic experience, rich in scenery, food, and sightseeing. Bruny Island's scenery is absolutely stunning and well worth a visit! The food was also delicious, especially the cheese and oysters—they were superb! The itinerary was thoughtfully planned, and the guide enthusiastically introduced all the attractions, sharing the history of Bruny Island and Tasmania. Plus, the guide was very friendly. I highly recommend this tour when visiting Tasmania!

One of the chillest and fun tour we had in Australia! The group we had was lovely. The food we tried were great as well. Well recomended!
