Reviews
The entire team was very professional and placed safety at a priority. Guides (Noella) where very friendly, approchable and knowledgeable. They where very organized, starting from pick-up to drop-off they kept us well informed and gave us the freedom to enjoy Frankland Island and Normanby reef while'st ensuring safety and comfortability to all guest. I can't recommend them highly enough. If I can just give them 10x stars..😉👍
Our cruise took us down the river and out to a beautiful, sun-drenched beach that was pure paradise. The views along the way were stunning, and the captain provided interesting commentary about the local area and wildlife, which was a great touch. The boat was clean and comfortable, and the journey was incredibly smooth.
this was the best introduction to the Great Barrier Reef that I could have asked for! the tour was the perfect size (only ~15 including guides) and the Frankland islands are such a treasure to see! it’s so private too since this group is the only one with the permit to visit, so it was just us and the clearest blue water! we saw sea turtles, rays, nemo (!!), and the guides were so knowledgeable on every aspect of Australian wildlife. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend!!
frankland island cruises made our day very memorable, we met a fellow travellers and they were the ones who suggested us to take frankland island reef cruises and so we skipped fitzroy and green island as its more crowded compared to frankland, and that was the best decision that we made. Per day the people count is limited to 100 and so you get the whole island for yourself. Amazing food and amazingly organised, if you are looking to do diving, i suggest you to contact them and inform a day prior. Anna was really helping and took us on snorkel tour, by far the best experience.
Best experience! Must try! Do not think more, just go and do it! You won't regret it. Thank you Klook!
Great value. Knowledgeable staff! Would recommend for anyone visiting Cairns, we had poor weather so there wasn't much to see on the safari but the island walk was great!
Cruise to a deserted island. There were many Japanese families, but the total was less than 30 people. I had participated in a Quicksilver tour before, so it was nice and small. I had high expectations for the visibility of the water because the number of people allowed to land per day was limited. It was okay in the morning, but the visibility dropped after high tide. The adventure snorkeling didn't go too far out to sea, and everyone gathered close to the staff, so it was very crowded and the fins hit you. You were warned if you strayed from the staff a little. It was not satisfying at all. I hope it will be held for experienced snorkelers.
The overall arrangement can be considered complete. There are different activities to participate in at different times, but the surrounding coral reefs are indeed a bit disappointing. Those who want to see the coral reefs are advised to take a boat to the outer islands and reefs.
The activities were well-organized, the service was attentive, and the staff were professional and friendly!
They picked us up at the hotel and it was a wonderful experience connecting from the river to the sea. I, who has a phobia of snorkeling, was able to snorkel for over an hour with the help of a professional instructor, and was able to see turtles, blue starfish, king lobsters, giant clams, and even sharks. The semi-submarine was also clearly visible, and I saw a turtle in the semi-submarine as well. The island tour with a marine expert was also impressive.
