• The hair-cutting ceremony is a significant ritual that honors a sumo wrestler's long years of achievement and celebrates the beginning of a new chapter in their life. The dohyo (sumo ring) and hanamichi (flower path) are sacred training grounds, so unauthorized entry is strictly prohibited. Please follow staff instructions during the tour.
• In accordance with sumo tradition, female participants do not enter the dohyo (sumo ring) but participate from a dedicated stage. The hair-cutting ceremony itself is the same for both men and women.
• While getting your hair cut, please follow the order and proceed smoothly. When touching a bun hairstyle, please handle it gently and be careful not to apply too much force. Since many guests will be getting their hair cut, the ceremony itself may take some time.
• Flash photography is strictly prohibited inside the venue. Please set your mobile phones to silent mode during the ceremony. Always keep your valuables and personal belongings with you. Please note that schedules and details may change depending on event operational circumstances.

Prohibitions & Limitations

• The activity is unable to accommodate for allergies, gluten intolerance, vegetarian diets or other dietary needs
• Participants who appear intoxicated may be refused service. In this case, no refunds will be given
• Outside food and drinks are not allowed
• Smoking and drinking is not allowed. You will immediately be asked to leave if caught by a staff member
• Please dress accordingly depending on the day's weather conditions
• For smooth entry, please refrain from wearing flip flops, shorts, tank tops, or sleeveless shirts
• The following items are prohibited: drones
• Pets are prohibited
• Flash photography is/are strictly prohibited inside the attraction
• The legal drinking age in Japan is age 20. Please bring a valid ID for proof of age
• It is your responsibility to inform the operator if you have any special health conditions. The operator is not responsible for any adverse effects which may arise from any treatment.
• Smelly food (e.g. durian) is not allowed in the facility

Cancellation policy

• You'll get a full refund if you cancel at least 24 hour(s) before the activity date (destination local time)
• In case of unforeseen events or extreme weather, the operator reserves the right to cancel the tour. If this happens, you have the option to request a full refund
• If you've participated in at least one activity, visited at least one attraction or used one of the tickets, refunds can't be issued
• Full refunds will only be issued for unsuccessful or rejected bookings
• Lost, stolen or damaged tickets can't be refunded
• Be aware that the approval of reschedules, amendments or refunds are subject to availability
• Refunds or amendments can't be issued if: Participants arrive late or don't arrive at all
• Refunds can't be issued for any participants who are late by 10 or more
• The activity will be cancelled if there is not a minimum of 1 participants. If this happens, you'll get a refund
