Located at Jalan Puncak in Jalan P. Ramlee, the Kuala Lumpur Tower or Menara Kuala Lumpur, is one of Malaysia's most iconic buildings. It is the 7th tallest freestanding tower in the world, featuring an antenna that increases its height to 421 meters above ground level. The tower shaft consists of 22 levels with 4 elevators and a stairwell with a total of 2,058 steps. When the tower was originally constructed, a 100-year-old Jelutong tree and the natural surroundings of Bukit Nanas were preserved by building a retaining wall around it
If you want to see Kuala Lumpur’s mesmerizing landscapes from the top, head over to the KL Tower Observation Deck that offers unobstructed 360-degree views of Kuala Lumpur and is, without a doubt, the best spot in town for taking great photos. You can also enjoy the spectacular cityscape and feel the outdoor breeze in the open-air viewing deck called the Sky Deck. The Sky Box offers a unique way to experience the bird’s eye view of the city by allowing you to stand inside a glass cube. Get your KL Tower tickets early and don’t waste any time in long lines!
