898 Summer Slam - Hybrid Race & Wellness Festival 2026

898 Summer Slam is an all‑day race, recover, rave experience for adults who want to combine hybrid fitness, wellness and music in one seaside festival.

The “898 Summer Slam – Hybrid Race & Wellness Festival 2026” will be held on 29 August 2026 (Saturday) at AquaBeat 01 – Kwun Tong Promenade, with hybrid relay race heats running throughout the day and wellness, recovery and rave programming for all guests aged 18 or above.

898 Hybrid Relay Race – Heats and Time Cap The 898 hybrid relay race will feature 7 heats between 09:30 and 17:30, each with a 50‑minute time cap. 12 teams per heat. Teams of four (mixed gender, minimum one female athlete per team) will complete accessible run segments and functional stations designed to deliver challenge and fun without the extreme intensity of traditional fixed‑format hybrid races.

General Admission (GA) Ticket Each GA Ticket includes:

• Full‑day access to the 898 Summer Slam festival site (wellness class zone, recovery area, vendor and discovery village, sunset rave party).
• Participation in all open wellness classes and experiences, subject to capacity.
• One Fast Pass registration for priority access to a selected wellness class session.
• Admission to the Sunset Rave Party, closing out the race, recover, rave journey with DJs and electronic music sets. (GA tickets do not include entry to the 898 Hybrid Relay Race.)

Racer Ticket

• Each Racer Ticket includes:
• Entry for one participant (aged 18 or above) to one 898 Hybrid Relay Race heat as part of a registered team of four.
• Full‑day access to the 898 Summer Slam festival site, including wellness class zone, recovery area, vendor and discovery village, and sunset rave party.
• One Fast Pass registration for priority access to a selected wellness class session.
• Priority line‑up for cold plunge experience in the recovery area. One 898 Racer Goodie Bag with a total value of up to HK$400, featuring selected products and partner offers aligned with hybrid fitness and wellness. (Racer tickets must be purchased as a team of four; individual race tickets are not available.)

Wellness Class Session

10:00 - 11:00 | Instructor: Iris | Morning Yoga

Morning Yoga class is led by Iris, who has five years of yoga teaching experience, helping you to start your day in a gentle yet empowering way. Centered on mind–body balance and pain-free health, the class uses mindful breathing and flowing stretches to awaken your body and release daily stress while caring for your joints and spine. In this class, you will build stable strength and flexibility, creating a solid foundation for the rest of your day.

11:30 - 12:30 | Instructor: Yvonne | Silent Breath Work hosted by Shroommate x Yuter Wellness

For many years, Yvonne has focused on sensory experiences and holistic wellbeing, believing that sound, scent, and breath are powerful ways to care for body and mind. She integrates singing bowl sound healing, aromatherapy, and bodily awareness into her classes. Using sound, scent, breath, and mindfulness, she guides people to slow down, relieve stress, improve sleep, and reconnect with themselves and their bodies, so self-care becomes a habit.

13:00 - 14:00 | Instructor: Lena | Full Body Yogalates

Lena's class combining yoga flow with full-body mat Pilates, it aims to improve strength, flexibility, and balance. Through smooth transitions between movements, it focuses on full-body Pilates training—strengthening the core, legs, and upper body.

14:30 - 15:30 | Instructor: Michael Kennelly | Pylometric

Michael is a two-time Asian Games high jump representative for Hong Kong, and he uses simple, science‑inspired training methods to help people move better and feel more powerful. In this class, he will guide you through easy-to-follow jumping and dynamic exercises that can help you start jumping higher and feeling more explosive. The focus is on safe movement, and gradual progression, so even if you’re new to this type of training, you can join confidently and enjoy pushing your limits.

16:00 - 17:00 | Instructor: Emily | Before Sunset Yoga

Emily has over 18 years of teaching experience in Hong Kong and gently weaves Jikiden Reiki, singing bowl sound therapy, and mindfulness into her teaching. She believes that “yoga shapes both the body and the mind,” and in this Before Sunset Yoga class, she will guide you to unwind from the day, reconnect with your inner voice, and move with ease as the light softens. As the sun sets, you’ll be invited to slow down, breathe deeply, and create space for quiet healing in body and soul.
