Reviews
A wonderful experience, excellent value for money. You'll eat, laugh, learn, and most importantly, see monkeys (lots of monkeys) up close. You'll also discover a small local market. A big thank you to Thu, who was a super guide; he had very good English and was very clear in his explanations. If you're in HCMC, this is a must-do!
We had an excellent experience on the Can Gio tour with SST Travel. From start to finish, everything was well organized and professionally handled. A special thank you to our tour guide, Khoa, who was incredibly informative, helpful, and cheerful throughout the trip. His knowledge of the area and engaging personality made the entire experience both enjoyable and memorable. He also gave great recommendations for local food and activities, which turned out to be some of the highlights of our day. We would also like to commend our driver for the smooth and safe driving, which made the journey comfortable and stress-free. A big thanks as well to Aaron, whose detailed communication and helpful coordination ensured everything went seamlessly before and during the tour.
Our guide Sam is knowledgeable and polite. The vehicle is full and may feel a little cramps, I am a big guy sitted at the aisle and half body outside. We visited the Whale temple, have a delicious shared meals at a local restaurant and visit the Monkey island. My favorite part is taking the speed boat back to the entrance. You can either walk back or take the boat, the price depend on the number of passenger.
Definitely a tour to remember! If you want up close and direct interactions with monkeys, then this is your tour to book. The walk through the mangrove to the military camp was an added bonus. Our tour guide Sam was very very pleasant and helpful. We did get our glasses and hats snatched by the monkeys (aka local gangsters) even though she warned us several times about it. She managed to coaxed the gangsters to give up our stuff. It’s an experience to remember! Thank you Phuong for an awesome tour. And thank you to our driver for a smooth and safe ride.
We spent yesterday with our guide Mia and had such a good time on Monkey Island. The monkeys are very entertaining- especially with all the babies We had a small group of about 9 and it was just right.lunch was so delicious and fresh! Thank you to Khanh for checking up on us! We really appreciate it! ***HIGHLY RECOMMEND ***
Mia/ Anh was great, very positive and enthusiastic. Everything that was planned out was on point and exciting. Quality of transfer could be a bit better, maybe cooler AC if possible please? Overall, it's great. Very informative, a definite recommend 👍 Just be careful of monkey, they're wild animals so be mindful around them and you'll be alright
this was a fantastic tour. Full of great activity’s including the cheeky Gangster monkeys and massive Crocs to the seafood market and restaurant stop for lunch. Sam our tour guide was great fun, funny and knowledgeable,m. the monkeys were hilarious, my teenagers loved it when they stole people’s glasses and had to be bribed by the rangers to give them back.. if they hadn’t already busted them. the huge crocodiles where a exciting change, we even got the chance to feed them. The tour bus was comfortable too. all up it was a great tour and we all really enjoyed it.
Sam (Quốc) is a very friendly and attentive guide who creates a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. Thanks to Sam’s thoughtful care for the travelers, the tour ran smoothly without any issues. The lunch was also delicious. Overall, it was a very satisfying tour.
Rick was an amazing trip guide from start to finish. He provided us with all the information we needed throughout the trip, making everything smooth and enjoyable. Even after the trip ended, he went the extra mile and shared a full itinerary to help us explore more on our own. His knowledge, friendliness, and dedication truly made the experience unforgettable. Highly recommend Rick to anyone looking for a reliable and thoughtful guide!
We loved our trip to Monkey Island with Kevin as our guide. He quickly learned everyone’s name. He shared all the details we needed to have a fun and safe journey. His English is terrific. We took LOTS of pictures to remember the monkeys and crocodiles. Kevin also took group and family shots and shared them with us. These will be treasured. Kevin was constantly circulating through our group of 20 to make sure everyone was engaged. He pointed out things we would have missed without him. My husband and I sat next to Kevin on the bus. He shared about his life and his country with pride. We enjoyed the seafood market and would have loved to have lunch there! They had a BBQ to grill up fresh seafood. That would have been amazing. He went above and beyond as a tour guide. We have been touring Vietnam for a month and he is the best. We did teach him the difference between a canoe and a speed boat. He was happy to learn. What a great tour guide and young man!
