Reviews
My partner and I had a great evening with our guide Momoko. She introduced us you 2 local eateries with mostly locals and Japanese only menus. The food was amazing and Momoko was very knowledgeable, explaining the different dishes we ate. The sashimi was delicious, the wagyu beef was very tender and the eel was yummy and a first for me! After mains we moved on to a second restaurant for sake and a local dessert. The evening was very enjoyable and a great learning experience! Highly recommend!
This was a great night out with amazing local dishes and drinks. The guide Momoko was a local Japanese expert! She made sure the group had a great time at the same time as educating us on Kyoto! I did this solo and it was perfect way to get a taste of the night life in Kyoto. Perfect trip! 10/10 no notes!
We had an absolutely amazing time on this tour trying so many traditional foods. Everything was delicious! We discovered so many new foods that non-locals would not know to even try. Our guide was Momoko, and she was a highly knowledgeable about the cuisine and local area. She was absolutely wonderful to chat with and made the experience even better. Highly recommend any traveler to book this tour.
Momo was kind and fun! She shared with us the interesting culinary secrets of our meal as well as traditions of food in Japan. First time trying shoju! All the evening was fantastic!
