The staff speaks English and can provide maps. However, the Nariaiji Temple bus is very confusing. The station staff before boarding requires ticket holders to purchase a "Nariaiji Temple entrance fee" of 400 yen before boarding, but walking up and down the mountain and driving do not require payment. There are no walls on the mountain or in front of the temple, and you can freely enter and exit. Does this essentially become a bus fare? This is the same as previous reviews I've seen.
